Welcome to Tiny Textiles where you’ll find miniature dollhouse textiles, vintage dollhouse furniture and accessories, materials for making doll clothes, vintage crafting materials, and an eclectic assortment of all kinds of treats from the attic. If you are an artist who likes to work with unusual objects or if you love dollhouse miniatures, —stop back often—you never know what we’ll unwrap next!

I come from a long line of make-do-and-mend-ers. And I like nothing better than finding new homes for attic treasures. Please ask me any questions you have. I'm happy to look through my stock for any special requests.

Payment
We accept Paypal
We’re sorry--we can’t accept fairy gold as it turns into dead leaves before we can deposit it.
Shipping
We normally ship USPS first class or priority mail. We’re a bit loosey-goosey about shipping times: maybe today, maybe tomorrow, depending on order volume. Normally within 2 days of receiving your order except on weekends and holidays. If you need something for a special occasion or RIGHT AWAY, please let us know so we can discuss upgraded shipping to Priority Mail or UPS. All of our shipments are sent with delivery confirmation.

By the way, we are very good at packing a LOT of textiles into one flat-rate priority envelope, so that is a good option if you want to purchase a number of items. We can even ship some of the smaller accessories if they will wrap flat enough to ride safely in the thin cardboard envelopes.

We take great pride in our careful packaging and in recycling just about every scrap of wrapping paper, bubble wrap, and cardboard that comes our way. We want you to be delighted with your purchases in every way and are anxious to ensure that items reach you in the same condition they left us.

We are currently shipping internationally on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us with the country where you would like items shipped. There are several reasons for this: 1) a surprising number of countries do not allow the importing of textiles, vintage or not. We don’t want to violate international law! 2) Shipping internationally takes a great deal more time, paperwork, and gas since we have to take parcels to the post office instead of just handing them to our mail carrier. There is a $2.00 per order handling fee on international orders to cover these expenses. 3) International shipments sometimes disappear, to everyone’s disappointment. We may require insurance on certain shipments.
Refunds and Exchanges
Since we are selling vintage and antique one-of-a-kind items, we cannot accept returns except where we have completely misrepresented an item. We make every effort to describe items accurately, but sometimes we miss minor defects, such as a loose thread on a hem or a faint spot. Please accept that this is the nature of vintage items---they are rarely perfect. On the other hand, if we send you a red hanky when we described it as pink, we’re happy to work with you to exchange the item or refund the item price.

We get much of our stock from estate sales and so we cannot guarantee where the items have been or what they have come in contact with. If you have allergies or are sensitive to smells or smoke, please know that, while these items are stored in a home without pets or smokers, we cannot guarantee that they are free of those kinds of problems.
Additional policies and FAQs
A caveat about buying vintage textiles: While a large number of these items have been washed at least once, we are also selling some as-is items, such as a hanky where the lace is still in good condition, but the fabric has deteriorated or has a hole in it. We try to be very clear about condition of items, but we advocate hand-washing of all pieces, unless otherwise stated. We also have some delicate silk items that we have never washed because they are so fragile. We will be clear in our descriptions that this is the case.

Please ask LOTS of questions before you buy. We want you to be delighted with all of your purchases.
