Announcement   At Titanium Rings Studio you will find handmade men's and women's titanium wedding bands, engagement rings, and elegant promise rings as well as great customer service! With over 10 years experience, we know how to make your purchase easy and seamless, offering FREE ENGRAVING and FREE RING SIZING KITS (with purchase) to get you started.

We use Ti-6A1-4V (aircraft grade titanium), a combination of titanium, 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium. This titanium alloy has proven to be the most versatile, resistant and durable when compared to other Titanium alloy combinations and pure grades of titanium.

Our rings are made in sizes 3 - 14 (whole, half, and quarter sizes), and varying widths depending on what may be appropriate for your taste and the size of your finger.

PLEASE KNOW YOUR SIZE BEFORE YOU ORDER. This is very, very important especially with high end engagement rings or bands. Titanium will not stretch or compress making resizing impossible. Ring sizing kits are available for free with the purchase of a ring. Place your order for the ring of your choice and type a note that you would like a sizing kit. We will then gladly hold your order pending your size confirmation.

Orders will ship within one to three weeks. Please let us know if you need a ring order rushed, it may cost more to upgrade shipping. Most of our simpler designs can be made quickly. Stone set rings can take up to three weeks to make.

We will engrave the inside of your ring of up to 35 characters (depending upon the ring size and choice of engraving font).
Please type what you would like to be engraved and the font you want used in your notes to us.

FAQs
About Our Titanium Rings

* Our handmade rings usually ship inside of 2-3 weeks, please plan ahead. Exotic, unique and cutting-edge, titanium is the stuff of dream rings, rings that will last and can be passed on for generations to come. Titanium is a performance metal, used extensively in aerospace where strength and weight really count.
* The inside of your ring is as important as the outside. Shaped for unparalleled comfort and highly polished, the inside feels soft and smooth as silk on your finger. We take extra time to shape and polish the inside surface just right. As soon as you put it on you know it's right.
* Titanium rings are hard to find in stores and rare to find anywhere with decent selection, if you have found us, you're in the right place for selection, quality, integrity and great customer care.
* Titanium is a natural element (not an alloy). It is a strong and very light metal with an outstanding resistance to corrosion. In its raw state, titanium is sponge-like in form and is a smoky gray metal, appearing slightly darker in tone than platinum. For more on titanium, see Titanium Facts .
* Titanium rings are featherweight, approximately 30% the weight of platinum and much easier on your pocket book. And did we mention... titanium doesn't tarnish at all?
* Our classic titanium and gold or platinum inlaid rings, as well as the blue anodized rings are a wonderful match with many styles of titanium and stainless steel watches. With a matte finish, these rings can also be worn as a great compliment to many accessories.

Titanium Colors

* At Titanium Rings Studio we love to play with color. One of the wonderful qualities of titanium is that it takes color well and a titanium band contrasted with color is absolutely striking. Choosing a color for a titanium ring can be fun and remember, if you need assistance or have any questions, feel free to contact us! Toll free 1-866-369-4161 or email at tirings [!at] yahoo.com .

*Anodizing is one of the processes we use to bring color to a titanium ring. This process involves the use of an electrically charged bath, which creates colors that range according to voltage. The resulting appearance of color is actually a play of light on the surface of the titanium. There are no surface applications or dyes of any kind in the anodizing process. Furthermore, at Titanium Rings Studios, we choose to color surfaces that are cut channels in the titanium band to protect the color and promote staying power. If your titanium ring's coloring should fail, we will recolor the ring at no charge to you within the first 30 days following purchase. We offer this service to our customers for the life of the ring for a fee of $35.00.

* If the cut channel needs cleaning, you may use a soft toothbrush and mild soap. Gentle scrubbing should be enough to remove unwanted particles while keeping the color intact.

Titanium Wear

Any rings with color...

Please avoid direct contact with household chemicals. Clean with a mild soap.

Titanium scratches…

Contrary to popular belief, titanium will scratch and wear over time, it just takes a lot more time and a lot more abuse than other metals. Titanium will not break or wear down like soft metals will (such as wearing thin or breaking at a thin point). Titanium takes longer to “break in” unlike the more traditional jewelry metals, such as platinum or gold which are comparatively very soft metals.

Ring Size

* Let us work with you so that you will have your rings in your hand on time and fitting perfectly. Your thoughtful consideration in determining your size accurately is well worth the effort. We cannot stress this enough! Let's work together to get you the ring you will love and cherish for years to come.
* If you have already bought your ring from us and it needs to be resized, please see our ring resizing instructions.
* Our rings are available in sizes 3 to 14 in 1/4 increments depending on style. For a ring larger than size14, there will be an additional fee of $50.00 for the extra material.
* The width of our rings ranges from 3.5 to 10 millimeters, again depending on style. When selecting a width that works for you, it may help to keep in mind that the average width on a woman's ring ranges between 3.5mm to 6mm. For a man's ring the average range is 7mm to 10mm. The width that is most comfortable can be determined by measuring the distance between the first knuckle and the web between the fingers.

Sizing suggestions:

1. You may go to any local jewelers and have them size your finger, most jewelers are more than happy to help. We suggest you do this three times since your ring size may fluctuate at different times of the day. Also, keep in mind that jewelers sizing equipment is not standardized. You may want to visit more than one jeweler.
2. Purchase an inexpensive ring and wear it around to test for comfort and sizing over time. Send the ring to us to use for accurate sizing.
3. Ask us for a complimentary ring sizing kit! One of the easiest ways to get it right the first time is to place your order and when selecting ring size, click on “send ring sizer” located as the first option in the size menu. We will mail a ring sizing kit out to you the same day holding your order as pending ring size. This allows us to get very accurate ring sizing.

* Surprisingly, fingers have a tendency to fluctuate in size throughout the day and night in response to activity levels and temperature changes. After you've tried ring sizing a few times throughout the day(s) to allow for swelling and contracting, you may e-mail tirings [!at] yahoo.com or call us at toll free at 866-369-4161 with your correct size and be sure to include the name that goes with the order. An order number, when you have one, is also helpful.
* Titanium cannot be sized smaller so we advise you to be sure of your size!
* Each ring will be made to the exact size that you specify so please be absolutely sure of your size before you order! Our charge for sizing larger (up to 3/4 in size depending on the specific ring style) is $35.00. To remake your ring smaller in size due to customer sizing mistakes we must charge 35% of the original ring price.
* We can not resize rings with stone settings. When ordering a stone set ring, you really must get our sizing kit!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ring Widths

* When choosing a width for your ring, keep in mind most of our rings are shown in 6 1/2-7mm width; rule of thumb: if you like what you see leave it be–we have designed appropriate proportions into each style. Call us if you have any doubt about what width to order. In many cases, when we make you a set in different widths & sizes we will use our artistic eye to alter the rings proportions properly. Imagine a ring set ordered in size 5 & size 12 both in 7mm, the smaller ring would appear much wider on the smaller finger. We try to avoid this unless you really want it.

* We do invite you to choose your own ring width, but please keep in mind that it can alter the look of your ring, especially when it comes to inlay channels, just contact us for assistance, we're glad to help in any way we can.

Titanium Ring Finishes

Matte: The matte finish is a more subdued, metallic and less reflective look, the color of steel. This finish follows frost in durability.

Polished: Brilliant and reflective, our polished finish is durable, elegant and eye catching, reflecting the world around you.

Sable: We developed this finish to give you a beautiful and distinguished look to your ring. Sable consists of softened tones of black and gray in an elegant glowing finish. While the Sable finish is beautiful, it does require preventative care.

Satin: With a reflective quality between Polished and Matte, Satin has a soft glow, subtle and beautiful. This is a finish to treat with care.

Frost: It sparkles in the sun and other well-lit places! Frost is our most durable finish.

Sandblast: This finish sparkles with a charcoal tone and has a somewhat rougher texture. This finish is best for people who tend to be rough with jewelry.
There are many color options on titanium rings with color. If you do not see the color you are looking for, please contact us and we will do our best to inlay the color of your choice.

About

Titanium Rings Studio began humbly in the woods in Northern California and has since expanded to the world wide web.

Titanium Rings Studio started, as many things do, as an experiment by my friend Eric Pless. While living in a remote cabin in the Sierra Nevada foothills, Eric made a living selling earrings made of anodized titanium. As it turns out, he was handed a piece of titanium pipe which he then crafted into a titanium ring.

From these crude beginnings, Titanium Rings Studio became a full-on venture into which many participants were hired as employees. The operation was moved out of the little cabin and into the nearest city, Grass Valley, CA. Jake and I were two of these employees and as the business grew, so did the task of administration. Eric invited me to fill this daunting role.

As the years passed, Titanium Rings Studio saw huge success early on, as we were one of the very first online businesses to offer titanium jewelry. Since then, the business has pared down to just myself and Jacob Hansard, the craftsman extraordinaire. While there is much more competition these days, and our operation is much more modest than in the early days, we are happy with the simplicity of just the two of us working together.

My administration, customer service desk is located in my home and Jacob creates the rings in a studio in his home. We meet in the mornings at 10:30 everyday to discuss business at hand. He brings me completed rings to ship and I hand him new orders to fill. Jacob then returns to his studio to craft the rings, I prepare shipments and correspond with our customers.

Our days are filled with lively conversations about what new equipment we would love to have, what new designs we can create, new ways to photograph the rings and what it seems our customers are looking for.

What has allowed Jake and I to stay together through all the changes this business has seen, is our mutual excitement over our customers and the creative process. There is nothing better than taking on a project for a customer and seeing it through to the end result. We look forward to many more years together, keeping the inspiration alive as we evolve to fill the needs of people who continue to seek out that one of a kind, artisan made, wearable piece rich with a story of humble beginnings.

Shipping
We use USPS Priority Mail for most shipments and FedEx for expedited, INTL and high-end shipments. If you want an order expedited, you must contact us before ordering to ensure upgraded shipping. For FedEx shipments, a phone number is required.

You will be sent a USPS label number or FedEx tracking number when your order ships.

Shipping Times:
While most USPS packages arrive much sooner, I allow Domestic packages 2 weeks before resending/refunding for non-delivery.

Contrary to popular belief, titanium will scratch and wear over time, it just takes a lot more time and a lot more abuse than other metals. *Please note that while a titanium ring will never tarnish or rust , it will acquire minor surface scratches or scuffs through everyday wear or rough handling. Refinishing will take care of this. However, a titanium ring that has been worn over the years without refinishing will acquire a nice, even, personalized character, similar to a satin finish. Many people find this quite attractive; in fact, many people prefer their own unique finish that comes from wearing their ring. It is evidence of their life in action.

You definitely want to visit more than one jeweler.
