This is uniquely cool. Finally, a cuff that fits a skinny wrist. How about yellow and pale pink.

About

Long story short... I love making stuff!

I have been creating things for as long as I can remember. My second grade report on what I wanted to be when I grew up was an artist. What I have come to realize is that an artist is not something you become; it is something you already are. I was born in Louisville Kentucky and raised in Southern Indiana. After high school, I decided to take the plunge and pursue a degree in fine art. I moved 680 miles away from home to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design. I majored in Metals and Jewelry with a Ceramic Arts minor. After graduating summa cum laude in 2006 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, I moved home to Indiana. My passion for sharing my knowledge and skill with others led me to the decision to become an educator. In 2009, I graduated from the University of Louisville with a Master of Arts in Teaching in Art Education. Currently, I am enjoying my time as a newlywed and teaching visual art at Jeffersonville High School.

Finding inspiration has never been a challenge for me. It seems the list of things I want to make never grows shorter. I love to observe tiny details of great beauty and experience an overwhelming desire to be creating things. Working with metal, wood, leather, fabric, paper, clay and thread; I create a synthesis of material and form exploring different media and the challenges they present. My work is oriented by process and informed by nature. I enjoy contrast in material and scale, while making connections through form. Creating a visual tempo with actual or implied movement of components using repetition is integral in my creations. Working intuitively, the challenge of incorporating new materials and learning new techniques produces ever changing results. Ultimately, my desire is to bring the observer to the place of wonder that I experience when finding inspiration.

Shipping
I ship items USPS first class or priority with tracking. Priority mail is insured up to $50. I will ship internationally, please inquire before purchase.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you have any questions about an item, please ask them before you purchase. Also, bear in mind that leather is a natural material and has natural variation in it's texture and is not of uniform thickness. Many of the buttons and buckles I use are vintage and have been used before, they are all in very good or near perfect condition. I would not sell anything I would not be happy to use myself. All of this being said, I want you to be very happy with your purchase. If you would like to return your item, you can do so within 30 days of purchase and I will refund the purchase price. The item must be in unused condition. I apologize but I cannot refund shipping.
