Hello and Welcome to ToBeHis Luxury Hand Crafted Custom Collars and Locks! We are so honored to be able to make beautiful Day Collars that are so special and important to our customers. We consider it a privileged to be able to be a part of the lives of our "lifestyle" counterparts.

In order to serve our customers better and for there to be no confusion or miscommunication we strongly suggest you read all of the shop's policies, FAQ's, shop announcements, descriptions, pictures and processing times before ordering. This way we are both on the same page which will hopefully prevent any problems or misunderstandings.

ORDER ADDRESS CHANGES OR SHIPPING UPGRADES:
Any address change or shipping upgrade/downgrade requested after an order is placed will result in the buyer having to completely resubmit the order correctly. Once the new corrected order is submitted we will then cancel the incorrect order after payment has cleared. Any changes to an order will affect the order's processing time as orders are made in chronological order and a new order puts you in the back of the order queue accordingly. We are not able to manually edit addresses shipping addresses. Please make sure you pay attention throughout the buying process and not rush to avoid this.

REFUNDS:
You MUST read our shop polices before purchasing. This is required by Etsy as well as ToBeHisLLC. Please know that we make only custom made and hand tailored items. Like all custom items, this does not allow for any refunds. This is in compliance and is fully supported by Etsy.com policy (See Etsy Policies). Under no circumstance are refunds given. You have been provided all and any information, with which you may base an educated decision to purchase one of our collars. Failure to utilize said information is in buyer error and is classified as buyer neglect.

EXCHANGES:
ToBeHis does not carry "inventory" or "pack and ship" items. You will not find a single mass produced item here! Each piece is custom made to order. There are no exchanges on any custom made items, of which every item in our store is.

REPAIRS:
If for any reason it is determined that our workmanship or product is defective, we will repair it and or replace it at our cost including round trip postage. This of course is at our discretion and will be determined by us on an individual case basis. If it is determined that the damage or problem was caused by the user, a fee of at least $24.95 will be charged (or more depending on parts and labor) not including round trip shipping. It is our goal to make quality products and to make our customers happy but we cannot be held responsible for user "misuse." In any case, the buyer will have one week from the day the return was initiated to return the item(s). If
Not done so within that timeframe the return is voided and cannot be re-initiated.

DAMAGED/LOST/STOLEN PACKAGES:
STOLEN PACKAGES:
If the tracking number information for the package in question states that it was "delivered", then ToBeHis LLC. is not responsible for issuing a replacement nor a refund. It is also not ToBeHis LLC. 's responsibility to initiate nor follow any investigation made by USPS. This is the customer's responsibility to see throughout entirely. It is also the customer's responsibility to provide shipping insurance for their shipment if they feel it is needed.

DAMAGED PACKAGE:
It is the customer's responsibility to purchase or request shipping insurance if they feel they will need it. It is not ToBeHis LLC's responsibility to insure a purchase. Damaged packages should be reported to the carrier (USPS or your country's postal service) for insurance claims.

LOST PACKAGES:
While rare, packages do occasionally get lost in transit. Typically they do show up but sometimes they do get lost forever. Remember, we both have an investment in this transaction. For this reason we will replace the item (no refunds) upon 45 days of the package being shipped if it does not get recovered. The customer is welcome to purchase another item during this period and a full refund for the first item will be issued once either the package is recovered or deemed lost after the 45 day waiting period for domestic orders and 60 days for international orders.

PROCESSING TIMES:
Processing times vary from product to product. Because processing times can change depending on how busy we are or material availability, we are not able to promise an exact time. Please be aware that all processing and delivery dates are "ESTIMATED" and not set in stone.

If you need something made faster or need a more accurate time please email us BEFORE purchasing and we will see if there is anything we can do at that time. We always try and work with our customers.

SIZING:
Failure to select a correct total length or size upon ordering falls under "buyer neglect", as there is an abundance of information (including a sizing video) and tips, to help you figure out your total length. ToBeHis is no way responsible for a wrong size selected by the buyer. By purchasing from ToBeHis, you agree to ALL information relayed here on this entire web page, and understand that ToBeHis is not responsible if you purchase an incorrect size or total length. If you are unsure please contact us BEFORE your purchase and we will be more than happy to help you determine the correct size. We can, for an additional fee ($24.95 minimum) re-size your collar. Some collar cannot be resized so please always contact us beforehand. Any collars (or products) that are returned with no authorization will be immediately returned to the customer. Typically alterations can take from 4-6 weeks depending on our work queue.

That being said, while we can shorten most of our collars many CANNOT physically be lengthened. In this case, you will have to purchase an entirely new collar if you want to replace it with a larger size . We cannot force you to read the information or look at our photos, we can only offer all necessary information (via word and pictures and videos), and hope you will utilize them. **Please note: ToBeHis cannot manipulate the laws of physics.** If it cant be lengthened, we can not change that.

They are not designed to be used in any kind of"restraint" or "play" or to be subject to any kind of activity that would potentially damage it. For example, if you think something you're doing might damage the collar then it probably is a good idea to take it off while doing so. If you're collar is delicate, it's probably no a good idea to sleep with it on or go to the gym or mountain climbing with it on. We ask that our customers please use common sense when wearing our jewelry. We CANNOT be held responsible for user misuse. 24/7 WEAR VS. CONTINUOUS WEAR
Our definition of what 24/7 means is that the item can be used during daily activities such as showering, swimming, and sweating without damaging the item or causing any kind of rust, discoloration or malfunction. While we do have many collars that can be worn continuously with out problems, some of our 24/7 rated collars are too delicate to be worn during certain activities such as sleeping or while doing strenuous activities. Again, we ask that you use common sense while using our products. If you think it can possibly be damaged by your activities it probably will be. We are always here for our customers, if you're not sure about something please ask us, we are always happy and eager to help you!

DISCLAIMER
We are also in the lifestyle so we know that a "locking" collar is important but we are required for liability reasons, to state that we do not recommend locking a collar around your neck, ankle or wrist without a key in your physical possession for safety purposes. If you do, you should always have a key close by in case of emergency. A locking collar can be a safety hazard and should be used for ornamental purposes ONLY. WARRANTIES AND GUARANTEES
Jewelry, particularly the kind we offer, is very difficult to offer any kind of warranty or guarantee. This is because we cannot foresee how the customer will use and care for their collar and/or lock. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the "lifestyle" our jewelry appeals to, there is a misunderstanding that because it is BDSM related and defined as "24/7" wear that it is somehow magically "indestructible" and can withstand BDSM activities like restraint or pulling, or play etc... Of course this is not how our "fine jewelry" items are intended to be used. (See FAQ's for more information). Just like you probably wouldn't go mountain climbing in your Tiffany & Co or Cartier high quality jewelry, you should use the same common sense with our "high quality" jewelry.

We guarantee that all of our pieces are free from any manufacturing defects.
We guarantee that our metals are as advertised and the highest quality available. If we say it is "solid sterling silver" you can rest assured it is.

WHAT WE DON'T GUARANTEE
We don't guarantee your collar will last any specific amount of time. Bottom line, if you take care of your things they will take care of you. All high quality jewelry requires care and maintenance.
We don't guarantee your collar will not break if it is used or put in a situation outside of it's intended use. If your baby yanks on it or it gets snagged on a branch or twig when you're mountain climbing and breaks, that is not due to defective workmanship. Again, 24/7 or BDSM does NOT equal "indestructible."

TOBEHIS WARRANTY
With the proper care and maintenance your collar should last quite some time. We warranty your collar to be free of workmanship defects or we will repair or replace it for free. We will even cover round trip shipping costs.
Please understand that we are literally a 2 person store. We are just a normal D/s couple living and working in the lifestyle. (see our about us "story" video) This is what we do full time, 60+ hours a week, to support our family. We are not a large corporation like Amazon, Ebay or Walmart selling mass produced "pack and ship" items from China. Each one of our pieces is handcrafted here by one of us. We take what we do very seriously and with great pride. It is ONLY in our best interest to sell the highest quality and best workmanship products. We wouldn't be around for over 6 years and over 10,000 sales if we didn't.

Do you use discreet packaging? How about Gift Wrapping?

All of our items come securely gift wrapped in our beautiful black and silver logo box with a pretty silver elastic bow to close it. For most purchases we ship in our black bubble mailers addressed from "ToBeHis.com". Purchases shipped using USPS Priority or Priority Express (or other) may be in a special envelope or box provided by USPS.

Do you sell Wholesale?

Because each piece is made individually and with our own two hands from scratch, we couldn't possibly wholesale in any quantity that would benefit us.

24/7 Wear VS. Continuous Wear

How Durable are you products?

We do not sell hardware. We sell High quality Jewelry symbolic of our lifestyle. With the proper care our products will last a lifetime.

Please remember that these are DAY COLLARS, and as such they are High quality jewelry and STRICTLY for ornamental use. Sterling Silver and 14/18K gold are soft precious metals. Under no circumstance are these intended for anything other than wearing as you would any other High Quality Fine jewelry. ( i.e. no pulling, restraining, tugging or stressing) Doing so will subject your collar/lock to being possibly damaged.

Stainless Steel and Nickel Plated (locks) are stronger metals, but still fall under the day collar definition and care. Again, please use common sense when wearing jewelry.

Do you offer any "free" products for promotional exchanges?

While we appreciate the kind offer, we do not offer any free merchandise for any reason; due to the custom, handcrafted and typically high ticket nature of our pieces.

Do you take custom or personalized orders?

ABSOLUTELY YES!

We pride ourselves on being a 100% custom shop and are highly skilled Artisans who are experts in our craft. If you have an idea or design you would like made just let us know and we will work with you to make it a reality.

Also, we can mix and match anything in our store so if you see two (or more items) that you like and want to combine it just let us know. We are always here to help!

Are you products hypoallergenic?

All of our items* are 100% nickel free and totally Hypoallergenic. We pride ourselves on offering our customers the highest quality metals on the planet. To us this is the only logical way to do business. We know if our customers are happy we are happy.

* Because our competitors can ONLY offer lower quality metal padlocks we also offer them (as a "free lock"). These locks are typically made of a zinc alloy and then plated with copper and finally plated in nickel and polished to a mirror shine. If you have jewelry allergies this is not the lock for you.

We are the ONLY store in the ENTIRE WORLD to offer locks in Nickel Free Precious Hypoallergenic Metals. (Sterling Silver, 14/18K gold and Surgical Stainless Steel)

How do I care for and clean my collar?

Our High Quality products are so very easy to clean. Since most all of our collars and locks are 24/7 wearable (see below for exceptions) just soaping them up when bathing is enough to keep them clean and shiny. Of course make sure to rise them with clear water afterwards.

Stainless Steel is a very hardy metal and can be maintained with just soap and water. Surprisingly enough, even Sterling Silver and Gold can also be kept clean and tarnish free this way as well. How much your sterling or gold collar and lock will tarnish also depends on your body's chemistry as well as environment (air, water, chemicals).

How do I care for and clean my collar (CONTINUED)

If your sterling or gold collar does tarnish we recommend using a good silver polish or dip. These items can be purchased at just about any hardware store or supermarket. Our favorite is a product called "Tarnex." It is literally a dip (or wipe) for 5 seconds and the tarnish is magically gone! Just remember that Tarnex works only on "tarnish" and you should clean your collar with soap and water to clean off any dirt or oils first before using the Tarnex. Also remember to rinse the collar or lock after using the Tarnex. Then just wipe dry with a paper towel or towel.

How do I care for my leather collar?

Our Leather products are made from the Best Quality Leathers available to us. They are not meant to be worn during swimming or bathing and should be regularly cleaned and conditioned as you would with any high grade leather. There are many leather cleaners and conditioners available on Amazon or at your local hardware store or supermarket. Our favorite is from a company named Bickmore and the product is "Bick 4". This stuff is amazing! It conditions, cleans, polished and protects all in one product.
