To Craft A Home is simply crafting a home
To Craft A Home has been years of learning and mastering the art of crochet. It started out when, as a new mother, I decided that I wanted to have the ability to gift my oldest daughter handmade gifts made from my own hands. Growing up and seeing all of the crafty ladies in my life gave me the drive to pick up a hook and start. Over the years and through trial and error came designs of my own and eventually the push to start selling my work. My home consists of three daughters, a husband, and four cats, all of who contribute to To Craft A Home in some significant way. My daughters are my biggest form of inspiration and are constantly helping me out with creative ideas and modeling. Every item made from this shop has the seal of approval from both of them. A child's eye to detail and creation can be the most important part of any creative process! My husband is the backbone behind the business, shipping, packaging, and running late night craft runs! And even my four cats play out a huge role in this business with their constant modeling of cat sweaters and testing of catnip toys. My orange tabby Jameson was especially fond of modeling and you will see it through many of the photos in listings in my shop. He remains the biggest influence behind all of my cat clothing designs.
I set out to make my home feel more like a home from pieces of handmade work displayed all throughout it and I hope that your home begins to feel more complete just as mine does knowing that each piece is made with care and thought. I truly enjoy what I do here and hope you do as well.
