Why choose Toadally Bugglable?

1. All tutus and dresses are made with 100% premium nylon tulle. This makes them soft and bouncy, rather than scratchy and crunchy.

2. Unless otherwise noted, dresses are made with lined tops. This allows your child to wear them in warmer weather without a shirt underneath, thus remaining cooler and nt overheating.

3. Attention to detail. I take great pride in my work and take extra care to ensure your tutus and bows will not only look great, but also last.

4. Mountains of tulle! Whether it be a sewn tutu or a knotted tutu, you can be certain your child will be covered in fluff!

5. Options. I offer knotted tutus and sewn tutus. While my knotted tutus have been tried and tested to last a long time, I know there are times when even more security and elegance is required and can also provide you with sewn tutus.

MEASURING:

To get the best fit, it is important to accurately measure your child. While crochet waists are more of a "one size fits all", an elastic waistband will need to be measured for proper fit.

WAIST - Measure using a seamstress/sewing measuring tape around the smallest part of your child's waist while they are standing. Be sure there is no bulky clothing between the tape and your child. The measuring tape should be snug, but not tight.

LENGTH - Measure from your child's waist to the point you would like the tutu to end. This could be their thigh, knee, calf, ankle, or anywhere in between (or even longer, if you're looking for a train). Please remember tutus tend to puff up and out, so you may want to add an extra 2-4 inches to this measurement to maintain coverage. This is especially so with shorter tutus.

CARE AND CLEANING OF YOUR TUTUS

Upon receiving your tutu, it is advised you immediately remove it from the packaging. It may look a bit flat and will likely require some fluffing. To do this, comb through the tulle with your fingers starting from the inner layers and working your way outward. For tutus that do not have individual strands, simply lift each layer from the bottom and it should puff up.

Please do NOT machine wash your tutus. The tulle can snag on the inner workings of the machine and stretch. The strands can also become tangled and knotted. If your tutu is dirty, gently hand wash in the sink or tub with cool to luke warm water. If needed, a small amount of detergent safe for hand washables and delicates can be used.

If your tutu is wrinkled, there are a few options available. It is not recommended that you iron the tutu, however it is possible on a low setting with a thin cloth to protect the tulle from the heat. – Hanging your tutu in the shower and wetting it will allow the weight of the water to pull the strands straight as it drips dry. Be aware this works best if you have pulled the strands down first so they are not bunched up inside the tutu. Tulle can hold an insane amount of water, so be prepared for it to drip dry for up to a few days depending on the size and length of the tutu. – Steam is also useful for removing wrinkles. Hanging the tutu in the bathroom while someone is taking a hot shower is one way to do this. If you own a clothes steamer, you may also use that. Just be careful not to directly steam the tulle to prevent heat damage.

You can maximize the life of your tutu by finger combing and fluffing after each use. I also suggest hanging them. If hanging is not an option, spread the tutu into a fluffy circle on a flat surface so tulle is not being crushed.

*** PARENTAL SUPERVISION is advised for all tutus and accessories containing small parts/embellishments. These could pose a choking hazard. Do not allow a child to sleep in a tutu or accessory. Toadally Bugglable cannot be held responsible for any incident and/or injury that could occur if you choose a product with embellishments or small pieces.

Also, be advised that the tulle can become entangled in toys, playground equipment, and machines with moving parts. Toadally Bugglable cannot be held accountable for damaged items due to being caught in something (such as the tires of a Power Wheels car, among other things).

About

adorably buggy – toadally cute – lovably nibblable

So I have these kids – Bug, Toad, and Nibblet. They love to do typical kid stuff. They build with Lego’s. They have tea parties with robotic dinosaurs. They paint, color, and read books (sometimes at the same time). They chase the dog and try to nom her brains… BWAINZZZZ!!!!!!!

***We apologize for the interruption. We are experiencing zombie difficulties and will resume posting after the antidote has been administered. Stay tuned***

*cough* Sorry about that. Kids nommed my own brains earlier today. I’m better now. Where was I? Oh yes. The kids. They’re the whole reason this all got started.

The Nibblet turned the mighty age of two last summer. Whenever possible, because this mom is a masochist, they get to pick their themes and I make it happen. Nibblet decided to take a break from cranial mastication and don the garb of a princess. This meant she needed a gown fit for royalty! And the Bug needed one. And the Toad needed stately prince or knightly armor… … … or a Tinkerbell costume. That’s cool, too! No? Peter Pan, you say? I can do – a frog?! You want me to make you a frog!? Like, the hopping kind, or Prince Naveen turns frog turns prince kind? No. Frogs do not fly. They hop, but they don’t fly. Flying means Peter Pan. No, he doesn’t have wings. No, he doesn’t wear a tutu. You want wings and a tutu? That’d be Tinkerbell. Are you sure? Positive? Not going to change your mind again after I get the supplies??? Tink it is!!!

Nibblet went green like Merida. Bug loves Rapunzel. Toad, after much deliberation, settled on Tinkerbell. Since then, I’ve been itching to make more! Any excuse I can find, I’m making tutus, dresses, and hair bows! Thus, Toadally Bugglable was born to share the poof with all!

I'm pretty much just me! I'm a mom with an addiction to tulle and ribbon - and a slight tendency to be a bit nutty (as I'm sure you noticed from my photo). We had fun with markers one day. It was awesome.

Payment
PLEASE READ ALL POLICIES BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER.

Payment is accepted via PayPal and credit card. Ready to ship items will ship within 1-2 days after payment is received. Custom orders will not be started until payment has been processed.

All purchases are considered final, however if there is a true problem please message me and we may be able to work out a solution. Payment is due at time of purchase.

When ordering custom tutus, payment must be made in advance. This is to help prevent cancelled orders after an item is made. What one person likes, others may not, making it hard to resell. Once payment is received, I will wait 24 hours before beginning production in the event you need to cancel, however after production begins cancellation is no longer possible. Thank you for your understanding.

*** While most clothing items purchased from Pennsylvania do not charge tax, some wearable items are still considered taxable. In these cases, there will be a 6% sales tax charged.
Shipping
All items are shipped via USPS Priority or First Class mail, or Parcel Post for larger orders. While generally the shipping times for these methods are within 5 days, please allow for up to TWO WEEKS in case of unforeseen delays within the Postal Service. Please note that if you are outside of the Continental US, it may take longer to receive your items - sometimes up to a month or more.

Items are created and package with care to prevent damage, however I cannot control what happens once a package leaves my hands. I cannot be held responsible for damage during courier handling, or delays in shipping. I also cannot guarantee delivery by a certain date as shipping is out of my control. USPS DOES NOT GUARANTEE DELIVERY except on Express Mail. As such, I also cannot guarantee delivery. If ordering at the last minute, the customer is accepting responsibility that the product may not reach its destination in time.

I will always have items shipped in the time frame discussed or within my current make time. Please see my shop announcement for current make times. If you need an item by a certain date, please contact me BEFORE you order to ensure I can get to it in time. I can offer rush orders in certain cases for an additional charge, however I do not delay current orders for rushed orders. Rushed orders will need to be completed outside typical work hours.

Also, please be certain I have your current shipping address. If the address available via your payment method is not up to date, I cannot be held responsible for delivery to the wrong person.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Currently I am only shipping to the United States, its territories, and Canada. I hope to offer items in other countries soon, but for now it is not possible. Shipping outside the United States is through USPS First Class Mail International. I will not be responsible for delays or lost packages once the package leaves the United States. Any additional fees charged at customs will be your responsibility. Please allow up to an additional 4 weeks for delivery. Due to the nature of International shipping I cannot give an estimated delivery date. I also cannot guarantee delivery by a certain date, so please be certain to order well in advance.
Refunds and Exchanges
Your satisfaction is very important to me. If you have any issues regarding the product, please message me and I will be happy to assist you. Please contact me within 48 hours of receiving the product if there was an error on my part and you would like a new item sent out or a refund.

In some cases I will do exchanges or refunds. Please contact me within 48 hours of receiving your order to discuss the nature of this request. You will be responsible for all shipping unless there was an error on my part. Items must be returned in the same condition or a refund/exchange will not be granted.

All custom orders cannot be returned or refunded. What one person likes, another may not, making it hard to resell custom designs. If there is a true problem with the item, please contact me to discuss options. Thank you for your understanding.

Please be sure of the colors, size, length and style before ordering.
Additional policies and FAQs
All tutus and dresses are made with 100% premium nylon tulle. This makes them soft and bouncy, rather than scratchy and crunchy. This also means they will be easier to smooth out should your child manage to get the tulle bunched up.

Unless otherwise noted, dresses are made with lined tops. This allows your child to wear them in warmer weather without a shirt underneath, thus remaining cooler and not overheating.

I offer knotted tutus and sewn tutus. While my knotted tutus have been tried and tested to last a long time, I know there are times when even more security and elegance is required and can also provide you with sewn tutus. Either way, you can be sure the tulle is as secure as possible for the style requested.

I take great pride in my work and take extra care to ensure your tutus and bows will not only look great, but also last. Embellishments are sewn down whenever possible, and securely glued when they cannot be sewn. Bows are sewn in layers, then secured together to be certain all ends and loops remain where they should be. The ends of all ribbon are heat-sealed, however I cannot guarantee they will never fray as they get worn from regular wear. If you notice threads starting to come loose, clipping them off can temporarily prevent continued fraying. A dab of clear nail polish to seal the threads can also help. Should you choose to reseal using heat, Toadally Bugglable cannot be held responsible for damage to the item.

MEASUREMENTS

When requesting a custom tutu, please be sure of your measurements before ordering. This allows for proper fit, and refunds will not be offered for tutus in the wrong size. If it truly was a mistake on my part, a picture of the tutu with measuring tape showing the wrong size will be required.

Also, be certain of the length. It is advised that you add 2 to 4 inches to the measurement as tutus fluff up and out. This will ensure coverage, especially on shorter tutus. Adding to the length is less of a problem for longer tutus, such as those extending to the floor, due to the weight of the tulle keeping the fabric down. Longer tutus are still very fluffy.
