5 out of 5 starsI ordered this for my Bertello Rotating 16” Simulfire oven. It fits great, easy to install, reduces preheat time by 50%, and the cover still fits with it on. Also very heavy high quality item and great shipping and seller responsive.

5 out of 5 starsThis is a very well designed and sturdy addition to my Imaginary Pizzeria. I assume that Bertello might be concerned about people burning themselves and did not design one of these doors themselves. These folks cover themselves with very clear disclaimers and usage has been easy and not all all problematic ( you can always wear good quality oven mitts as i do when taking things out of a hot oven. 5 out of 5 starsI purchased the door in anticipation of receiving the Bertello pizza oven. The door came as described, it feels like a high quality item. Unfortunately, I still have not received the pizza oven and have no word from the company on when I can expect it to be shipped or even if it is in stock at this time. That being the case, I may need to return the door as I will have no use for it. Stay tuned.

5 out of 5 starsWhat I Like: 1. Faster Heating: Oven heats up quicker with the door closed. 2. Better Cooking: Closed door maintains higher temperature for more even pizza cooking. 3. Good Airflow: Door doesn't restrict airflow; wood continues to burn well. 4. Quality Material: Thick steel used for the door feels durable and doesn't bend. 5. Easy Setup: No tools needed for assembly; door is easily removable. One Minor Point: Slight Hinge Play: Single hinge has a little movement when opening/closing, but doesn't affect function or look. Overall: The Bertello Grande Door is a valuable addition to the Bertello Grande oven. It speeds up heating and improves cooking results. The quality is good, and it's easy to install and remove. The minor hinge play is not a significant issue. Recommended.

5 out of 5 starsThe pizza oven door works great. It helps keeping the temperature higher on the front of the stone. This way it is easier managing the pizza dough at its early stage, which is the most critical. Strongly recommended for a better Bertello pizza oven user experience.

Thank you for your feedback. The door is made from thick, precision-cut 302 stainless steel, which is both durable heat-resistant, and not bendable. The slight gap in the fit is intentional to maintain proper airflow for combustion. Closing the oven completely would extinguish the flame. You may be referring to the hinge, which yes, it has a small amount of play and could be refined in a future version. However, that small play does not affect stability or usability in any way. I’ve used this same design personally for over two years, and it has remained perfectly stable. I truly appreciate your input. Many customers find the door a great addition to their Bertello ovens, and all feedback is greatly appreciated as it helps me continue improving. Thank you.
