About TomfooleryHome

On Etsy since 2010

Purveyors of quirky yet artful shenanigans.

What first started with a mother daughter team with furnishings to yarns, wool kits and vintage style towels, the time has come to sit back with a tall glass of tea and take measure of what this journey is all about. I am a retired upholstery seamstress. I have always found solace in sewing as it were, whether it was clothes, quilts or curtains, it has always been a way for me to escape and my hand work of choice. To be in a space where imagination gives way to creativity and inspires works without limits, I find myself at the forefront of this venture and am eager to take it on. My daughter Heather and I have been sewing towel sets for a number of years as time has allowed. They have been given as gifts and tokens of appreciation to friends and family. Although Heather has had to step down from her furniture duties, she is still on the side lines cheering me on and helping with computer and admin duties. I have 2 embroidery machines with my Consew industrial machine and Sergers. I hope you will join me in this new adventure from my sewing room in Klamath Falls, Oregon to your kitchen.
