I wanted to find products that would WORK and NOURISH skin and hair. This urge encouraged me to make my own cosmetics ten years ago, first for myself and my family. Now I’m finally able to reach out to more people with my small online store.

I mainly focus in functional ingredients like vitamins and anti-oxidants which have CLINICALLY proven their effectiveness on keeping the skin youthful and in the best possible condition at ANY AGE.

I do not like ‘hiding’ my skin problems with make up. I prefer to embrace the ‘problem’ , to heal it, to nourish it from the root. If you see my photos you can easily tell that I never wear make up; just my creams and sunscreen to protect my skin from the sun the whole all season. I want to feel comfortable with my skin and take care of it as much as possible and not hide it.

In the ‘face’ section of my online store you will find facial creams which are enriched with actives like Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Vitamin B3, co-enzyme Q10 and many more. Ingredients that it’s scientifically proven that they are very effective in making our skin more evenly textured and evenly toned. Guess what… you will no longer need to cover your face with tons of make up!

That's what I do with my hair too. I focus in making it healthier and not to cover it with tons of silicones and mineral oil pretending that it's healthy. I prefer to see my hair in it's natural state which is curly and feed it with hair masks packed with useful ingredients like oils, butters and emollients that deeply penetrate in the hair shaft and not just sit on top of it.

In the ‘hair’ section of my online store you will find products that are Curly Girl Method approved meaning that are silicone, sulfate and mineral oil free. Of course they work great on other types of hair as well.

Regarding the procedure of making my products. I never stock anything, everything is made-to-order. My creams are not made with a ‘of the shelf’ materials and cream bases. Everything is made from scratch and is freshly made by order only. I also use lots of aloe vera in my creations. You cannot imagine how I love this plant I do collect it on my own from my garden and extract it myself. I feel like I’m doing a surgery operation! That might sound like a lot of work, but I love what I do, and hopefully you will love it too!.

Remember to nourish your body both inside and outside to be at YOUR BEST!

Is Cetearyl Alcohol a drying alcohol?

NO, it is the opposite, cetearyl alcohol is fatty alcohol which is derived from vegetable oils. It is used as a stabilizer, viscosity agent and as a skin and hair emollient.

Can I have a preservative free product?

No you can't, unless you want a product with mold, yeast and bacteria in it (and in your skin). My products might be handmade to order but they need to be preserved with the least amount (less than one percent) of paraben free preservative to avoid yeast, mold and bacteria growth for at least six months.

Is phenoxyethanol bad?

As with many cosmetic ingredients, concentration matters. I use phenoxyethanol to preserve my products which is less than one percent of the total weight. A 100% concentration of phenoxyethanol comes with some scary warnings. For example, the Safety Data Sheet on this preservative describes it as harmful if it contacts skin, is inhaled, or gets in to the eyes. The alarming studies are about using phenoxyethanol in full-strength or high concentrations, not the amounts of 1% or less used in cosmetic products. Research has shown that compared to many other preservatives, the incidence of a sensitized or allergic reaction to phenoxyethanol applied as used in cosmetics is rare.

Do you use plastic or glass?

Most of my creams and liquids are placed in recyclable PET (food grade) plastic containers. The reason I'm using plastic is to keep SHIPPING COSTS as LOW as possible. For example a pet jar weights around 10 grams and a glass jar around 100 grams. The drawback is that the cream jars feel a bit "light" on hand.
