TonyTheMailman's Shop Announcement

Tony was the original picker.
He spent his days delivering mail, his nights tending bar and his weekends golfing and helping out with his sons Boy Scout Troup. In his spare time he searched for junk and antiques to sell, re-finish or trade.
In the early 1960's he held garage sales in the small brick garage at the rear of his property. Tony loved and respected beautiful old things. Some of his favorites were cast iron skillets, pen knives, old keys, oak furniture, blue willow china, drop leaf tables, old marbles, depression glass (which was made in Jeannette Pennsylvania, very near Tony's home), English Pottery, Milk Glass and antique farm and garden tools.
Every item was cleaned or refinished honoring the style and era of the piece.
Tony's kids grew up with beautiful, used Persian Carpets in their bedrooms and antique drop leaf tables, that had been refinished by Tony, in the corners of the living room and dining room.
Things came and went, perhaps they were traded or sold, but the things that Tony brought home have influenced his children and their idea and standard of beauty more than anyone could have imagined.
