Thank you for this lovely huge Kosta Boda snowball. It is going to look lovely on the mantle with its 'buddies' at Christmas. K

For whatever reason, this naive artwork caught my eye and I love it. Description was accurate. Seller promptly answered questions. Well protective packaging and quick delivery. All around 5 star experience with this seller.

About

An Ongoing Quest for Objects of Beauty, Functionality, Innovation and Place

Trust me. I know mid century modern. I have lived it.

I will never forget the day I purchased my first, newly released Dansk Teak Pepper Mill or my first set of Le Creuset Coussance Pots in the original cast iron finish - before enameling in any color! The year was 1972. I was just 20 years old and outfitting my first apartment. I had worked for Georg Jensen (USA) at the Fashion Center in a suburb of the NY Metro Area for several years during high school and college, and became familiar with iconic design power houses like Royal Copenhagen, Kalevala Koru and Dansk.

I also had the privilege of working for jewelry designer Betty Cooke in her shop, The Store LTD in Baltimore. Here, I was introduced to Modern Minimalism at its essence, in the works of Arne Jacobson, Marimekko, Iittala and Heller. As a result of my early and formative work experiences, I developed an appreciation and a passion for beautifully designed, modern jewelry and objects in porcelain, stoneware, silver and bronze that has remained with me to this day.

Recently, I have added fashion and original works of art to the mix, again focusing mainly on Midcentury marvels, like Claire McCardell, Nelly de Grab, Lilli Ann, Vera and Lilly Pulitzer in addition to items manufactured exclusively for Midcentury Baltimore purveyors and flagship department stores with a storied past, such as John Wannanaker's, Peck & Peck, Hutzler's, and The French Shop.

Admittedly, I'm a true Virgo, a perfectionist. I am dedicated to finding and offering vintage items in like new condition. My ongoing quest is to find and sell only objects of Beauty, Functionality, Innovation and Place that another perfectionist like me would want to buy!
