Sewing Patterns so Classy Hoes Can Make Trashy Clothes!

Hand drafted with love in Gwangju, South Korea! I create fun and easy sewing patterns to help bring my love of sewing to everyone!

When I lived in Canada I was a full time independent fashion designer, shipping my creations all over the world. Many of my designs were upcycled one offs, often using patchwork scraps to make them even more eco friendly. During the Covid pandemic, my partner and I decided we were sick of working full time in a country with rabidly increasing living expenses. We packed up our whole life, and our two cats, and moved to South Korea. After settling here for a couple months I decided to go back to work full time, but this time only releasing affordable sewing patterns instead of high priced full fashion pieces. This allows more people around the world to have better access to my designs as well as putting their own creative spin on them!

I hope you enjoy my creations,

I am glad you've stumbled upon my little pattern shop! Tooth & Eye is dedicated to creating easy to advanced sewing patterns. Each pattern has been printed off multiple times and sew tested to make sure everything lines up properly. Every pattern used in my video tutorials are the exact same patterns I sell on both here and my website! I suggest watching the pattern videos linked in each listing before purchasing the pattern. That way you can see if the pattern is suitable for your skillset.

Since pdfs are instantly delivered digital files all sales are final. The pdf patterns are not provided with any warranties, either expressed or implied.

If you are having any issues feel free to message me and I will try to help you with the best of my abilities. Basic sewing skills and fabric knowledge are required for all of my sewing patterns, even when marked as "easy". I do not give coaching on how to use your sewing machine, what threads or needles to use, what length of stitch to use, etc. If you you don't have these basic sewing skills I highly recommend learning them before purchasing any of my patterns.

Good luck on your next sewing project!

- Vanessa

I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:

I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services; and 2) Compliance with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use. I use your information as necessary to comply with my obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.

- Etsy. I share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
- Service providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

Frequently asked questions

What sizes are your patterns?

I try to have sizes UK2-26/US00-22 on all my patterns. I highly recommend checking my size charts to see where your size falls. Accessory patterns will have different sizing.

My creation didn't turn out exactly like yours, can I get a refund?

No. I can't exactly take back the pdfs so all sales are final. I have links to video instructions of each pattern in every listing so that you can watch the video for free and see if that pattern is doable for your skillset. Different fabrics, machine settings, sewing experience, etc all play a part in how your final creation will turnout.

Can I sell my creations made from your patterns?

Yes and no!

Unlike many other pattern companies, I allow my patterns to be used for small scale business, but only to make the finished product. Small scale business in this context is defined as a retail business with 5 or fewer employees/owners, and in which manufacturing is done either entirely or majority in house. If you do not fit within this definition you may only use my products for personal use. If your business outsources some manufacturing, but not all, understand that these patterns CANNOT under any circumstances be shared with third party manufactures, in any form, regardless of the size of manufacturer. These patterns are strictly for your use only.
