Lucia and I discussed what I would like and she produced a wonderful sketch and together we agreed on adjustments here and there. The final result is truly a thing of beauty. I gazed with awe as I saw the rug spread on my floor. It's an absolute work of art. I love it.

I enjoy working with clients painting whatever their special project may be. My goal is to bring you the finished art that you envision and to give God the glory for the work He enables me to do. Each piece will have a Bible verse painted somewhere on it, either worked into the art, near border or edge or underneath. If you have a favorite verse you'd like to have on a custom piece than let me know. I've been in business for 19 years and have learned what works and doesn't work. I love bold, bright colors but can easily bend my style to customize something. Let me know what you have in mind.

I only check my email a couple times a day. So if you've ordered something and haven't heard back from me right away, don't panic, I might be painting, or, sitting on the beach. I'll email you as soon as I see that something's been ordered and reply with a confirmation. If the item has yet to be painted then I'll let you know what my lead time is, typically 2 - 4 weeks.

Payment in full is due prior to painting a piece or shipping a piece already painted. Please, if you'd like the item painted, then I will need to have the payment in advance. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have concerning any possible orders, but won't begin painting until I'm sure you want the item.

Communication during the initial request for a custom piece is key to a successful design that you're happy with. If you'd like to visualize the design artwork for an item that I've never painted before than I'd be happy to do a small color sketch so we can work out the design together prior to the project. However I do require a design fee up front plus any revisions you may request. I'm an experienced artist but not so good with mind reading. The more I have from you (ideas, color choices, fabric, paint chips) the better. Take a good look at work I've already done and pick out design elements that you like most, colors you want and/or subject matter. This saves much time and possible creative misunderstandings. I will do my best to interpret your wishes into that lasting work of art you'll love. If you trust my judgement and don't need to see the design ahead of time then you save time and therefore money, however, my vision may be somewhat different than yours, or not. Either way, I will strive to create a work that you will be satisfied with, and will finish it in such a way that it will last. Photos of the finished piece will be sent prior to shipping.
All items will ship via UPS or Fed Ex and tracking # provided once I've shipped it. Some smaller items may be shipped USPS priority mail with insurance and tracking will be provided. In stock items will be packed and shipped within 1 - 5 business days with insurance. Custom orders will take 2 - 4 weeks to ship and I will give you updates as to my progress so you can anticipate my schedule. Once tracking is provided you can monitor where your item is. Return shipping is not offered.

I charge for shipping and handling. Handling means, I have to purchase the boxes and shipping materials, pack and take the item to be shipped. Occassionally I will use recycled product to save costs and environment.

I offer shipping only within the continental US at this time. I'm not dealing with small flat items so shipping gets more complicated and prefer to keep my little business streamlined.

Once in a while I might ship via the Post Office if it seems too costly to ship an item with UPS (far more than what you paid for the shipping) but I would get your approval first and I would only do that via priority mail with insurance.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you're unhappy with an item you can send it back but you would need to pay return shipping. If a package looks damaged, take photos to document and notify me ASAP and UPS just in case contents end up being damaged, and save the box and packaging. If the contents are damaged, then please document with photos so we can discuss a resolution. Since items are insured, if everything's done right, I should be able to make a claim with UPS to recoup the cost. This is why its important to let me know right away , to get photos of the damage and save packing material.
If an item is shipped but gets lost or stolen then we have to go through the process of making a claim which can take some time depending on the shipping co. Once I ship something and it's been insured, it's out of my control. However, because the item is insured, the costs can be recovered, the item can be repainted or you can be refunded if you so choose. Please trust I will do what I can on my end to get your item to you or reconcile any problems with shipments. Communication is key. Thanks for trusting me with your art orders and business.
Additional policies and FAQs
I will do my best to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase and to work through any possible shipping problems, which are few and far between. So far I've only had two shipments arrive damaged in the last 19 years that I've been in business.
I will send photos of custom orders prior to shipping for final approval. Non personalized items that I would be able to resell to another might be considered for a return if you aren't completely satisfied, but the cost of shipping, and materials would be subtracted from a custom order that is returned. My goal is that you be completely satisfied with your purchase and I will do all that I can to make this happen.
