Announcement   You will notice that gold is missing from my paintings in 2017 & 2018. I am using silver instead. This is in protest of our so-called President who likes gold. I am more than happy to use gold for commissions.

I am proud to be a 2016 'Hearts in SF' artist for the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation.

All the art here is available for you to enjoy and buy.

YES, THE TAXES are included in the price. I do charge a reasonable packaging fee. I do not ship express. If you want express shipping you must pay for it.

I mostly work with high-grade museum or artist quality materials. I strive to craft each painting to be worthy of hanging in a museum, commercial space, or high-end residence. My media choices are acrylic, encaustic, epoxy resin, and glitter on canvas or board. All my paintings are solely handmade by me.

I am happy to work with you to make my art affordable. I do show and sell on other sites. My paintings are listed at a higher price on those sites because they take a commission or charge more for the deal then Etsy does. I will NOT double sell a painting. It will either be marked as sold or taken off the other site. Please just send me a convo. Commissions are welcome!

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area my work is in collections all over the world. I love traveling.

I am now working with https://www.framebridge.com/. When you buy my art and go to frame it you will receive a $10 discount on the order if you use promo code TRACYFETTER10. Please allow time for me to ship the art to Framebridge and them to frame it and ship it to you. Any painting can be made into a framed print. If you don't see what you want in the Framed print section. Please contact me and I will happily facilitate getting you a premium framed print of one of my paintings.

We?ve bought several by Tracy and we?re always thrilled. I?ve always found her unique use of gold leaf entertaining, it doesn?t get overplayed, and adds to the conversation among the elements. The image online doesn?t do it justice. I needed a painting that was not as large as the last, for a place in my office. I can?t wait to put it up.

This is the third painting I've bought from Tracy. And I'm loving it just as much as the others. This has touches of gold paint that catch the light and make the painting look different depending on the time of day. Very cool. It looks great in our mid-century style dining room. Thank you!

Absolutely love this painting duo. They are gorgeous, elegant and beautifully crafted with real gold leaf. I've hung them as a pair in my living room and it has totally transformed the room. Tracy does amazing work and is such a pleasure to deal with. A consummate professional in her business transactions.

About

Happy Paintings by Tracy Fetter

With my art, I am trying to make people happier. I don’t think that this is a vain, or shallow goal because without happiness art and life is useless. Politics don’t matter without a shred of hope. Being an intellectual is insignificant if the person receiving the idea is not able to receive the idea because of inner strife. Our environments significantly impact our ideas, perceptions, health, and feelings. How can one be happy? For me, the answer is surrounding myself with the people and things that I think are beautiful. Art is not a hard arduous thing for me. Suffering is too common and not necessary with art. If I look for beauty in a color or shape, art is easy. I hope that the viewer of my work feels the love and happiness.

I know you will be happy owning my art. I like to paint large semi-abstract to abstract paintings.

I usually name my paintings after the last person I met or was thinking about when I finished the paintings. Then I remember the painting and the person.

I have been an artist in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 10 years. I have a BA in drama from the University of Washington. I love to travel.
You can buy my older paintings directly from me at http://www.tracyfetter.com/

*I had opened my shop along with a bazillion other art website stores in 2011-12 but have settled on Etsy, Saatchi, and my own website as stores.

I find abstraction and patterns a never ending fascination. I express my love, inspiration with color, metallic paint & texture. Both antiquities and modern art inspire me. Most of my artwork is titled with common names. I do love commissions.
