For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a passion for art and fashion.

As a child, I was constantly drawing and doodling, so it was a natural choice to work on school banners and backdrops for plays and other theatrical productions.

Fast forward to adulthood...

Jeff and I purchased 20 acres of bare land in Central Oregon’s High Desert and decided to try our hand at living “off-grid.” We did that for about 18 months, and it was an amazing experience. The closest town was 35 miles away, and even our nearest neighbors lived 4 miles down a dirt road. We had no access to television, and our phone and internet services were limited to trips we made into town. We learned what it was like to get back to nature. It was quiet and peaceful, and life took on a slower pace, which was a welcome departure from what we had grown used to in the city. It helped me reconnect with my creative side…my inner artist. And I found myself craving new projects! Something challenging and exciting to do with my hands. So, I decided to learn how to make handcrafted jewelry. I found a wholesale jewelry supply company online and called to place my initial order. I purchased bolts and bolts of brass and copper wire, in a wide variety of gauges, for practicing and cultivating my skill. And I even purchased some more expensive sterling silver and gold-filled wire. Additionally, I got some basic tools and a wide selection of semi-precious stone beads. My journey into handcrafted jewelry began!

Over the years, I have refined my abilities and figured out my own personal style. I discovered that I wanted to stand out from the crowd. I’m not much of a conformist, lol!

Eventually, my design studio filled with quite an inventory of finished pieces, which I gave away as gifts to family members and friends. After a while, I started promoting and selling my pieces to people on Facebook and other social networking sites. People liked my original designs, so I decided to pursue my craft and turn it into a business. I am crazy in love with using my hands to create beautiful, wearable, unique pieces of art!

I also picked up another art form while living out there…wood burning or pyrography. I specialize in creating photo reproductions burned onto wood or leather.

My love of creating unique art ultimately led to printing my designs onto t-shirts and other surfaces.
