5 out of 5 starsExcellent service and the panelling is very easy to use (and I have minimal diy skills). The panelling was cut to the measurements provided, and the step by step instructions were great. I found the little shelf a bit fiddly, but I found that if I held each part in place for 10 minutes to let the adhesive take, then it was fine. I am now looking at where else I can use the panelling!

Custom and personalised orders
Please send us measurements in cm or mm if you can. The more accurate the better. If installing above skirting remember to measure from the top of the skirting. For sockets we need the height above floor or skirting and distance from the nearest right or left wall/edge.
If you have measurements in inches we will need to convert to metric as we work exclusively in metric with our software and tooling, however this conversion process will normally involve rounding up or down so your fitting will be affected. It is better to send in mm if you can.
Shipping to Northern Ireland and international locations
We kindly request that all customers who live Northern Ireland or outside of the UK (Isle of Man, Jersey and international countries) please contact us before placing an order. We cannot ship to NI or international (apart from USA) with our free shipping offer and we will require you to make a contribution towards the additional shipping and processing costs for us. If you do not respond to our requests for additional fees then we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund in full. Paying for an order does not guarantee fulfilment.
Open Back panelling description
Our Open Back kits are clearly described but for avoidance of doubt this is the definition of what an Open Back kit is... the kit consists of pre-machined lengths of batten, each part is numbered. Each kit comes with a bespoke layout drawing showing where the numbered parts go and how to fix them for a premium finish. The original wall surface needs to be flat and smooth as it will SHOW THROUGH the panelling recesses. Once the panelling is fully installed, filled, sanded and dry then you paint the whole wall and panelling the same colour. This gives a convincing look of solid panelling. If you want to fully cover the wall in panelling, then look at Back-Boarded panels.
Recommended adhesives
For open backed panelling we recommend NoNonsense solvent free grab adhesive which is available from Screwfix for about £3 per tube. You will need a caulking gun to use this adhesive. You can use any grab adhesive by NoNonsense is tried and tested.
For back boarded panels we recommend Instastik, this is a foam based adhesive designed for dry wall and is ideal for panelling. This can be bought from Screwfix and trade counters.
You can also use counter sunk screws or nails on the hidden overlaps between the vertical back-boarded panels.
