Wij geloven dat de zichtbaarheid van trans- en non-binaire personen in de gemeenschap, die een normaal leven leiden, een ontzettend belangrijke rol kan spelen bij het bieden van hoop, vreugde, vrijheid en authenticiteit aan mensen die moeite hebben om te leven zoals ze zijn.
Wij maken de artikelen die u in onze winkel vindt om dezelfde reden waarom we hier bij Trans Joy alles doen: optimisme, empowerment en trots verspreiden.
Naast het maken van de artikelen in onze winkel, doen wij ook het volgende:
- Creëer bevestigende ruimtes om te vieren, verbinding te maken en het leven te leven als onszelf
- Wijs mensen op maatschappelijke organisaties die ervoor zorgen dat trans- en non-binaire mensen krijgen wat ze nodig hebben om te floreren
- Versterk de verhalen van trans- en non-binaire mensen die goed werk leveren in de wereld
- Financiële middelen beschikbaar stellen in de vorm van een subsidiefonds om trans- en non-binaire personen te helpen toegang te krijgen tot wat ze nodig hebben

How do you celebrate Trans Joy? Do you know someone who would benefit from some Trans Joy in their life?
We believe that community visibility of trans and nonbinary folks living their normal lives can play a deeply important role in instilling hope, joy, freedom, and authenticity in those who may be struggling to live as who they are.
We make the items you find in our shop for the same reason we do everything here at Trans Joy - to spread optimism, empowerment, and pride.
In addition to making the items in our shop, we also:
- Create affirming spaces for celebrating, connecting, and living life as ourselves
- Point folks to community organizations that help ensure trans and nonbinary folks have what they need to thrive
- Amplify the stories of trans and nonbinary people doing good in the world
- Provide financial resources in the form of a grant fund to help trans and nonbinary people access what they need
