Frequently asked questions
What is the packing time?
We generally get orders out within 24 hours. Packages are delivered to US Postal Monday thru Friday for shipping. During holiday time (mid-Nov til late Dec), we will also drop packages on Saturdays.
How long does shipping take?
We ship from northern KY, outside Cincinnati, OH.
After the shipping date:
*First Class - Usually 2 to 4 days within the 48 continental states.
*Priority - 2 days to most destinations; 3 days if more rural.
In both cases, those delivery times can be delayed due to intense weather events.
What tracking info will I get?
We utilize tracking on most shipments and the number will be provided to the buyer when we mark an order as shipped.
On some packages we don't use tracking but, both the buyers address and our return address are clearly printed on the label so if there is some issue and the package isn't delivered to the buyer it will be returned to us. By purchasing from Traveler Fabrics, you agree to wait 15 days after shipment date for a package to be received (on USA orders). If it has not been received by the buyer, or returned to us, by 15 days after the shipment date, we will re-ship the order.
What taxes and fees are collected?
Etsy complies with each states laws regarding online transactions, collects taxes accordingly and remits them to the state where the package is shipped.
As of early 2021, I believe Etsy is collecting the new United Kingdom 20% VAT tax on orders that ship there.
Traveler Fabrics is not responsible for collecting or paying any other duties or customs fees that may be required when an order is delivered. That is the responsibility of the buyer.
