Hi Diane, I received the scarf over the weekend and I love it! Houndstooth is my favorite type of weave and this one has a lovely weight. It's also perfect for my entire wardrobe. Thank You Again!

This Angora scarf is absolutely beautiful with its lovely design and soft halo effect. Diane is a gifted artist who does exceptional work and offers excellent customer service. The scarf arrived promptly and very nicely packaged in a pretty handmade cloth bag -- great attention to detail even in the packaging. I love the scarf and highly recommend this wonderful Etsy shop.

Hi Diane, I really love this scarf! It may be lightweight and simple but so warm and remarkably soft! The golden, sunny color's a perfect antidote to gloomy weather and always makes me smile. Thank you so much for warming and brightening my winter! All Best, maxzie1
“Invisible threads are the strongest ties.” ― Friedrich Nietzsche
I found myself to be one thread in the tapestry of the natural world when I moved to the high mountains of the Trinity Alps in Northern California. The feel of soft natural fibers moving through my fingers links me to the reality in which I live. The textiles offered in my shop, Treadlers, are hand woven by me. Any hand spun yarn used in their making is spun by my own hands.
Warm and comfortable to touch and wear, natural fiber textiles are signature touchstones for interdependence and an ethical choice. They provide a tangible link to a sustainable future for our world, ourselves, our children, the very creatures who produce the fibers, and those creatures’ caregivers. Knowing the ingredients in your clothing, like knowing the ingredients in your food, is important. Knowing that your handwoven natural fiber item will feel good, look great and serve you well for many years to come is important too. Everything is connected.
