About

Vintage woman loves vintage.

I needed something to do rather than sitting in a rocking chair after my retirement. I saw on TV some interviews for selling on line, so I researched different ways for selling. I didn't like the idea of auctions but Etsy was right up my alley. It was slow getting started for some one who over the years took orders from others, self starting is a big issue.

I like vintage things but most of all serving and dinner ware is a passion for me. I have Depression glass I found when I was married 50 years ago. Some has been handed down from my mother, the story is that they were handed down by her grandmother. Some things I have found that remind me of my childhood at grandma's house, like a pitcher of lemonade. One of my treasures, the punch bowl set, was used when my sister got married. When I was newly married home sales parties were big, I found the snack sets I used to serve my guests, though not the very ones, they are long gone.

My shop is full of items I remember from many years ago. I wish now I had treasured them then like I do now. I only sell things I would use in my own home and are meaningful to me. I sell them so you too might pass on memories.

Thanks for visiting my little shop.

I am retired and love having time to shop for vintage items. I also volunteer for our local senior center at lunch and also our county park district portraying one of the pioneers at our 1847 farm stead.
