They work so well I bought 2 sets of these twice, plus they're beautiful to look at too. And great, personal service that's prompt. PS I bought the second set after a year using the first set because I've increased my fermenting and need them, not because the first set broke.

I love the craftsmanship with this stone, but I love, more than that, the amazing ability to weigh down, and keep submerged, my ferments! EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!

Just got them in today and they fit perfectly. They're a good weight and I like the design on them but the best test will come when I make some sauerkraut =) And in case anyone wonders if they may be fragile, worry not as I already tested mine by accidentally dropping it on the counter which then fell on the ground and it survived without a scratch! I'll probably be ordering a few more.
