Tricycle Red- the Revolution Will Be Whimsical

Some time ago I was making and selling greeting cards in a shop where I also worked. They featured a small Boston Terrier in various poses and hats, bringing birthday greetings and messages of love. Simultaneously, I was making collage pieces from paint samples, the shiny, candy-colored cards from the paint store that you take home to imagine them in your room before committing. They are abundant! They are free! You can make really pretty things with those pretty colors! Who knew!?
One thing lead to another- I became involved in the environmental and anti-war movements, and try to make art which helps to promote a better world. Stickers became a medium I enjoyed because one can spread one's message far and wide, and provide a glimpse of chance beauty in some public place.
I love animals of all kinds, particularly dogs, and studied scientific and natural history illustration in art school, but am too impatient, probably, and imprecise so I make happy, slightly imperfect critters, they are more fun anyway.
Oh! And Tricycle Red was the name of a color of paint on a card on my desk, one day when I needed a name. And thus, Tricycle Red Projects. Hope you enjoy!
