The bracelet turned out beautifully and my wife loved it. I used it as a second anniversary gift (cotton) in our wedding colors. The wrapping it came in was simple and beautiful. Thank you so much!

tingling senses

my name is joana pedroso and i am the designer and maker behind Trincar Uvas. i come from portugal but I’ve been living in the netherlands for the last few years. i feel the happiest amongst nature, art and friends.

trincar uvas is where i get to express myself. my aesthetics. what makes my senses tingle. what excites me and at the same time makes me feel like i'm home.

i am deeply inspired by tribal and folk arts & crafts. i love it’s raw and pure strength! in making and designing jewelry i use simple and ancient materials and techniques that have been with us for many centuries. most of my pieces are one of a kind or made in a run of very small editions. i like to keep my creativity flowing!

most of the metal components i use come from vintage/dead stock and the threads are handmade by several textile artists i've had the pleasure to meet (many here on etsy).

i am responsible for every single step of this endeavor. i design and make each piece, i photograph and model all of it, i make my own business cards and packaging and i take each package to the post office myself... and i love all of it!

if you are interested in knowing a bit more about me, my inspiration, creative process and peeks into my studio you can follow me on

recently i've started a new illustration project in collaboration with my boyfriend. we named our project Wandering Nebula. we draw and screen print on t-shirts, totes, tiles and much more. i've also designed a small jewelry collection for it. check it out here:
