4 out of 5 starsThe donkey is adorable! The sound it makes is very frightening. I have donkeys, real donkeys, and the sound this one makes would traumatize a child. It scares me! We have taken out the sound box and my granddaughter will love it! The sound needs to be replaced. This might be a donkey bray but not one that you would normally hear.

Donkey I’m glad you think the donkey is adorable. I am sad to learn you think sound is frightening. The donkey stuffed animal was created as a replica of the real mini donkey, Hank, that has brought so much joy to others at Triple Brook Farm and through social media. A donkey’s bray is unique to each donkey just as our voices are unique to us. Hank’s bray is seen as happy and filled with excitement and love with his farm friends. I have included a link to the real live Hank the mini donkey that has his bray and happiness. Maybe if your granddaughter could see there is an actual donkey with that sound she might not see it as scary and could enjoy the sound in the stuffed animal.
