Troll Socks: The Humble Beginning
We houden van sokken, maar wilden geen sokken maken zoals iedereen, waarbij het enige verschil de patronen zijn. Dus maken we sokken als geen ander! We zagen een astronaut een foto posten van zijn sokken vanuit het internationale ruimtestation ISS, waar hij smileys op tekende en zijn tenen gerafeld waren van het stuiteren rond al het klittenband in het station. Zelfs met slechts een simpele smiley en de rafelrand die op haar leek, kwamen de sokken echt tot leven en ik vond het een leuk idee, om gezichten op de toppen van je sokken te tekenen! Dus onze sokken zijn daaruit voortgekomen, met gezichten die naar je opkijken en haar rond de tenen! Na veel hard werken en leren hoe je sokken moet ontwerpen en maken, lanceerden we Troll Socks met de missie om leuke sokken te maken die anders zijn dan alle andere sokken op de markt. Onze sokken zijn ervaringssokken om thuis van te genieten tijdens het loungen, of om een gespreksstarter te hebben op feestjes waar je je schoenen uit moet doen bij de deur, of voor de lol door de luchthavenbeveiliging gaat, of elk ander moment dat je maar kunt bedenken om leuke sokken te dragen. Ze zijn geweldige geschenken die altijd een glimlach brengen. Onze sokken zien er geweldig uit boven de enkel en je kunt ze gerust dragen als alledaagse sokken, maar het feest begint wanneer de schoenen loskomen :)
We LOVE socks but didn't want to make socks like everyone else, where the only difference is the patterns. So we make socks unlike anyone else! We saw an astronaut post a picture of his socks from the international space station where he drew smiley faces on them and his toes were frayed from bouncing around all the velcro in the station. Even with just a simple smiley and the fray that looked like hair, the socks really came to life and I thought it was a fun idea, to draw faces on the tops of your socks! So our socks spawned from that, with faces looking back up at you and hair around the toes! After a lot of hard work and learning how to design and make socks, we launched Troll Socks with the mission to make fun socks that are unlike any other socks on the market. Our socks are experiential socks to enjoy in your home while lounging, or to have a conversation starter at parties where you need to take your shoes off at the door, or for fun going through airport security, or any other time you can think of to wear fun socks. They make amazing gifts that always bring a smile. Our socks look great above the ankle and you can feel free to wear them as everyday socks, but the party starts when the shoes come off :)
