A very warm welcome to my shop!

I have always had a love of color…from those scented markers I used in grade school, to the colored pencils that I enjoyed organizing and reorganizing by shade as much as actually using, to all those lusciously colored paint tubes! And when I began working with beads ... oh, boy! ... I am immediately drawn to rich, saturated colors.

I began making jewelry for myself about twenty years ago when I had a tough time finding pieces I liked in the stores. That evolved into making gifts for family and friends. And those gifts led, in 2006, to selling my jewelry at local Saturday Markets.

My love of color has led to an on-going exploration about how colors are used in healing and spiritual practices. Many of us have a favorite color, or are drawn to different colors at various times depending on what we are facing. Every color vibrates at its own energetic frequency. You may already be familiar with the seven major chakras (energy-points) located along the spine. Each chakra is associated with a different color and is believed to impact a different aspect of our well-being. By wearing the colors associated with the chakras, we fortify those areas (just like putting on your heavy coat before you walk into the snowstorm). It is so fun to create pieces whose color combinations could buoy up our spirits and fortify us for various situations.

Please complete your payment as soon as possible. If three days go by without payment or any communication from you, I will cancel the order.

I accept payments through PayPal. PayPal is a fast and secure way to use MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover or a PayPal account to complete purchases. You do not need an account with PayPal to use it's services. You can learn more at paypal.com.

CUSTOM ORDER PAYMENTS must be made up-front. Custom orders will not be started until cleared payment is received. Payment will be requested AFTER we have discussed the details of the order and agreed upon cost and time frame.

CUSTOMS:
International buyers should be aware that you may be responsible for paying additional taxes and duties when your items arrive in your country. I recommend that you contact your local customs office to learn if this applies to you.

CURRENCY:
All prices listed are in US dollars (USD$).
Shipping
I ship items using US Postal Service Priority mail. Items are typically shipped within three business days of receiving cleared payment.

If you have experienced difficulty with USPS (lost or damaged packages) I recommend that you request insurance and delivery confirmation. I can add this additional postal charge to your PayPal invoice.

PACKAGING:
Smaller items are packaged in bubble wrap and padded envelopes. Larger and/or more delicate items are packaged in boxes, bubble wrap and padded envelopes.
Refunds and Exchanges
REFUNDS:
I examine all items before they are shipped. However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase (for any reason) upon receiving it, please contact me immediately. International buyers have 4 weeks from the order date to contact me; US buyers have 15 days from the order date. I will accept the return of an item in its original condition, but please contact me before returning any item. Once I have received the returned item and inspected it, I will refund the full purchase cost, minus the shipping cost. You will be responsible for shipping costs related to returning the item, including insurance and/or delivery confirmation. Custom orders will not be refunded if the item(s) meet the agreed upon specifications.

CANCELATIONS:
To cancel an order, please contact me with the order reference number. If the order has not yet shipped and is cancelled and payment has already been processed, I will refund the purchase cost including postage. If the order has been shipped, then the unwanted items must be returned to me unused and in their original packaging. This must be done at your own risk and your own cost within 7 days of delivery. I will credit your payment the cost of the unwanted item(s) and the original shipping cost. You will be responsible for costs related to shipping the unwanted items back to me; those costs will not be refunded.
Additional policies and FAQs
A quick recommendation … there is rationale behind the adage "a lady always puts her pearls on last." Alcohol and other acidic ingredients in our hair-sprays, perfumes, deodorants, and such can damage the delicate nacre of pearls and may cloud the surfaces of metal, stone, glass and crystal beads. Minimize their contact with lotions and sunscreens. To best take care of your pieces try to put your jewelry on last and after any creams or lotions are absorbed. It is also a good idea to avoid wearing jewelry while sleeping, swimming, or participating in athletic activities. You may wipe the piece with a clean damp cloth. Avoid using ultrasonic jewelry cleaners.

My item descriptions include information on the major chakras and the metaphysical properties associated with various natural materials. Please know that this information is not intended as medical advice in any way.

Before purchasing any item on Etsy, please look at all photos and read the full description and my shop policies. Due to variations in computer monitor settings, actual colors may differ slightly from what is shown. Please convo me with any questions prior to purchasing.
