Hace varios años vi una colcha de tortuga en la escena final de una película de Dennis Quaid y supe que TENÍA que encontrar el patrón. Lo encontré y comencé a hacer almohadas de tortugas y luego almohadas de peces a partir de un patrón relacionado. De ahí viene el nombre TurtleFish Creations.

Several years ago I noticed a turtle quilt in the final scene of a Dennis Quaid movie and knew I HAD to find the pattern. I found it and started making turtle pillows and later fish pillows from a related pattern. That's where the name TurtleFish Creations comes from.
Over the last several years the items offered in my shop have shifted from pillows to reversible chef's aprons, microwave bowl cozies, tote bags for kids and grown-ups, snack mats and zippered pyramid pouches. I also added whimsical items that include butterfly wands, unicorn and dragon headbands as well as bunny and llama ears.
My fabric stash keeps growing, but you won't find much that is currently available in typical fabric stores. I support a local "Creative Reuse" shop where I find unique fabrics and notions that have been donated for resale. They save literal tons of materials from going into landfills.
