Hand stitched holsters using vegetable tanned leather dyed in various colors. Making working long lasting holsters.

I got started making holsters quite by accident. When my father passed away and while cleaning out his garage, I found some leather working tools he had along with some leather. I didn't think much of it at the time and put them away in my tool shed. One afternoon while looking for something I came across the leather and tools. After actually looking at what he had I thought I would see if I could make something meaningful for my kids and grandkids. I started with making some knife sheaths for family and friends. My son-in-law asked me if I had ever considered making leather gun holsters. I had never thought about doing that, didn't have any idea of where to start. That was August 2015. My first few gun holsters were not very good, but I was intrigued by the process, and the sheer enjoyment I was having learning the process. I hope my holster building skills are improving and getting better with each one made. I make these with one goal in mind: deliver a workable long lasting holster that functions properly for its intended use. If I do not achieve that result, I'm not delivering to my expectations.

If you purchase one of my holsters and are not satisfied, let me know. We can always work something out. I would rather a holster that's constructed by me works and meets the customers expectations. If I don't meet the customers expectations, I'm not doing my job. I am a one man operation, still learning, and will continue perfecting this craft until I can no longer see. I dont' consider this as just another job or hobby. Ask my wife. If I am not stitching a holster, I am cutting leather, dying the almost completed product or looking at the patterns I have acquired to customize or make inmprovements on what I have done previously. Please don't hesitate to give feedback, positive or negative. Thanks for stopping by.
