On the 25th May 2018 the new European Union (EU), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) law comes in to effect.

The safeguarding of customer information is of the utmost importance to us here at Twisted Fintch. We would like to take this opportunity to inform you of the types of information we keep, why and how we process and store your data.

The information we retain is directly related to and essential to the ordering/delivery processes and accountancy records. The information collected for these records is: What you have purchased; the price you have paid; your name and/or the companies name; shipping addresses; email addresses and Etsy handles. You agree to provide this information when accepting the Etsy Terms of Use Policy.

The order details and history for each purchase is automatically stored by Etsy and made available to us so that we may effectively complete your order - this means addresses and names for shipping and also handles and email addresses so that any relevant customer service queries or issues may be addressed with customers directly. This allows us to provide a quality buying experience. Customer services issues may include but are not limited to: information and discussion of custom orders; bill disputes; re-ordering; discounts and refunds.

The information pertaining to each order is stored by Twisted Fintch for at least seven years after completion of transaction for tax and any legal purposes.

Digital files containing the aforementioned data/information are stored in encrypted files on a firewall and password protected computer.

We do not currently have an opt-in newsletter or any email marketing policies. If we decide to begin such practices our privacy policies shall be updated accordingly.
