Now to find my footing

I have always been creative, but as an adult, the only creative thing I was doing was restorative art as an embalmer. Add a hubby and two kiddo's, I was starting to get a bit needy for a creative release.
I decided to take some money and a coupon and buy my first set of jewelry tools and some supplies. I looked online for a few tutorials and VIOLA! I made my first pair of earrings. I was a bit timid at first and unsure. I didn't even tell my husband I had opened an Etsy Shop in November of 2009.
For the first year, I had children who napped! I worked full time. On my days off, during nap time, I was able to create, photograph, list and make sales from time to time!
Now, I am in a state of active school-age children and still have my full time job. I create for pleasure when I can, but it is amazing how I can find time to create when I get a wholesale or custom order. (Oh, yeah... Hubby sees the sale and helps out with the kiddo's when he is home....)
I have a "studio" full of supplies that I am reorganizing and creating with. I cannot wait to use up some of these supplies and branch out into some other jewelry endeavors! I have found that I love to work with wire, glass beads and glass! I also emboss and stamp.
I have a tendency to be eclectic and at times goofy! I have a strong following of Mom-Friends who look to me for gifts for Mother's Day for themselves, Christmas gifts for sisters & grandma's and teachers gifts.
