Cute little dish. Just the right size for a small snack or for pocket change. Many uses.
About
Handmade is HOMEMADE here at TwistedRiverClay!
We are Ron and Char enjoying life in our tiny home-based pottery studio nestled in the rolling hills and farmlands along the Quinebaug River, a 69-mile-long ‘twisting river’ that connects with the Aspinook pond in Canterbury CT … our home town.
Here, in this quaint township, is where we take pleasure in using both traditional and modern, eco-friendly methods to craft pottery with a rustic, woodland charm influenced by the countryside surrounding us. Here is where we bring clay and color together into a unique treasure for you to enjoy for a lifetime.
Whether a functional piece or one designed for decorative use, we welcome you to enjoy the pieces we love to make!

Safety and Care Instructions
Designed for every day use, our heirloom quality pottery makes a wonderful gift and keepsake.
SAFETY & CARE RECOMMENDATIONS
- Our pottery is food safe and lead free.
- Our pottery is microwave and dishwasher safe. Use the appliance manufacturer's directions for ceramics. Handwashing is always preferred for handmade clay pieces. Allow pottery to cool before washing. Use gentle cleansers made without citrus scents or harsh, abrasive ingredients to preserve color and finish. Dry thoroughly between uses.
- Our bakeware is oven safe to 400° F. Distribute food evenly in the pan and warm together to desired temperature. Remove from oven to a dry, neutral surface like a wood trivet or soft mat to avoid thermal shock.
Shipping Duration
Ready-made orders are packed and shipped within 1-3 business days of purchase.
We ship USPS Priority Mail. The average delivery time estimated by USPS is 3-5 business days.
Our Shop's Inventory
Every piece in our shop is ready to ship.
Each pot is made completely by hand one-piece-at-a-time by just the two of us. Variance from piece-to-piece and batch-to-batch is a normal desired characteristic of handmade ... it is the quality that makes each piece a unique work of art.
Gift Receipt
When sending pottery as a gift, please "add an optional note" in the cart letting us know what you wish to say to the gift recipient and we will include a "gift receipt" to include your personal best wishes.
