Announcement   Update 4/17/18: PLEASE BEAR WITH ME AND BE PATIENT. I'm an independent one-man show and I can only juggle so much at a time. I'm trying the best I can! Still behind schedule on a few remaining custom orders, but I'm working every day and everything is getting back to a normal pace slowly but surely. Thank you for all your patience again. I'll have a lot of new exciting things to offer as the year progresses.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________I'm a costume and prop artist just doing what I love. I'm here to offer highly detailed and often illuminated cyberpunk/sci-fi/steampunk/wasteland/post-apoc tech masks, respirators, goggles, helmets, armor, full costumes, and props. I'm constantly creating new things.

It looks pretty cool, kind of reminds me of a Hognose Bat. The LEDs work well; they're just bright enough to light up the ground about 3 or 4 feet in front of you so you can kind of see. My two critique are that the glue is a little messy on the bottom of the face mask and where the start of the straps come off both sides of the mask. My other critique is that the straps are uncomfortable on my ears. It is a pretty cool product overall.

About

My whole life has been full of creating, and these are the fruits of my imagination.

The most early stages of my creative habits started with Legos when I was much younger. I would create for hours on end, day after day for over a decade. It was my favorite thing to do and my very first hobby that allowed my imagination to grow exponentially. It kick-started my creativity to become what it is today.

I started crafting original costumes to wear myself when I was just 15 (2005) after I decided that buying my own masks/costumes for Halloween was a waste of money for cheap junk. I just knew that I could create things that were much cooler.

So I started coming up with my own ideas for original characters for costume designs and made a full suit once every year. The feeling of creating these things was so fun and addictive. So over the next 5 years after that, I eventually gained enough experience with much trial and error and figured out much better methods and techniques. I also started using better materials like foam, rubber, plastics, leather, various machine parts I collected over time, and LEDs to achieve greater things than I ever did before.

Around this time I started creating unique cyberpunk respirators and goggles with my new methods. Almost immediately they gained interest from some people I knew as well as some I did not inquiring to buy them, so I decided to start making more to sell, creating my own Etsy shop in 2011.
Making things like this became a frequent thing after that, not just reserved for Halloween.
But It wasn't until I made and sold quite a few respirators that I decided I'd finally make full helmets and costumes with my new techniques to actually sell too.
Eventually some of my work started getting internet attention on various high-traffic websites around this time, and has continued to do so on and off since then.

I pretty much just did this as well as worked a few miserable dead end jobs until the end of 2012 when I decided It was time to take things a step further. After realizing that selling my art was starting to make more than what I getting paid working minimum wage, I decided I'd much rather solely make art for a living and would be much happier this way. Since then, I've had way more time to create and grow as an artist, and I've been happily and comfortably self-employed. I can honestly say that being able to live off something you absolutely love doing is one of the best feelings there is. All the kindness, love, and support from fans makes it even all the more worth while!

I currently make gas masks, goggles, full helmets, armor pieces, props, and full armor suits. I take what I do very seriously and I've worked with quite a few indie film makers and various DJs and various performers which have become a great part of my clientele.

Any questions about anything feel free to ask!

FOR CUSTOM ORDERS AND COMMISSIONS:

Because of the unique nature of taking on custom work and the drawn out number of payments usually associated per-job, I am not holding funds or offering any refunds put down on the order before the final piece has been approved by the buyer and shipped out. In the case something should be extremely faulty after it's arrived at it's destination, that's another issue and you can refer to the info on "ready to ship items" below.

If you are unsure about being able to pay off a commission or custom order or think you might cancel half-way through, please do not order.
YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CANCEL FOR A FULL REFUND.
If you order custom work you agree to these these terms and conditions.

FOR READY TO SHIP ITEMS:

Returns may be accepted for ready to ship items in special cases.

I thoroughly inspect all my wares to ensure they're fully functional and without flaws before I ship them out. However, in the case that anything should happen to malfunction or break on it's own (such as electronics) (within 90 days of receiving the item); returns for a refund, returns for a replacement, or free repairs are accepted!

I will do my very best to fix any problems and ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Just be sure to message me about it first!
Payment
For commissions or custom orders, at least 25% of the set price must be paid in advance before I start working.

Additional policies and FAQs
INFO FOR MADE TO ORDER ITEMS:
-If you are purchasing a made-to-order listing, please ask if you are unsure about how long your item will take to be made. I specify on each listing the approximate amount of time the specific piece will take, but sometimes it may take a little longer (or not as long) depending on what my workload is. If you need it GUARANTEED by a specific deadline, please message me before buying, as addition rush charges may apply depending on the date requested.

- COMMISSION COMPLETION TIME AND DEADLINE INFO:
Commissions are different from custom orders, in that they require me to a make a new design from the ground up

When commissioning me, I will estimate a completion time in my discussion with you depending on what's requested. ****Unless specified in my conversations with you, this is not a guaranteed estimate for when it will be done, only approximate. When I'm creating an entirely new piece it's difficult to estimate exactly how long it will take, and I've decided the best way possible for my artistic process is to avoid really tight deadlines when possible. That being said; If you have a STRICT deadline, a rush-order surcharge may apply for any of the above. From the quoted amount, an additional 5% charge will be applied to every week subtracted from the original turn around time. All in all, If the order needs to be guaranteed to arrive by a specific deadline, please message me beforehand!!!! As these details need to be specified first and foremost.

I offer limited payment plans and only 25% of the quoted total price is to be paid up front before the order is officiated.
**** I will not begin work on the piece until AT LEAST 50% of the total amount is payed off. And will ship the finished piece until 100% + shipping costs are paid.
Opting to pay 100% up front is the fasted expedited way to receive custom work from payment time to delivery.

COMMISSION PROCESS:

To commission me to make you a personalized piece, first we start with the design being requested. You can send me a detailed description, sketches, reference photos...etc (but make sure you're aware of my terms in the paragraph below). All reference photos or points within them will be used as inspiration as you request and as I agree to. I'll ask you to include details such as color palate, finish type, If you want LEDs, their color(s), and placement you desire. If I accept the commission request, I'll give you a price quote.

It's worth noting that I only make original art of my own designs while retaining my artistic rights and freedom, but when taking on commissions I follow whatever guidelines the customer gives me to create something tailored to their needs.
The finished piece will be a TwoHornsUnited original through and through. If you plan on owning the exclusive rights to the design's likeness or intend on monetizing merchandise with it's image, please discuss this with me beforehand and we can work something out. Otherwise it can be correctly assumed I own the intellectual property of all work produced and hold all legal rights accompanying that.
I always discuss what I'll be doing with my customers throughout the process, go back and forth with sketches (if needed), send progress photos, and show high quality pictures of the finished design to be approved before it's shipped out.

If you have any further questions about the terms above, do not hesitate to message me.
