About

Unique jewellery for fans, with love.

I've never been able to find the perfect jewellery. It's a quirk of mine, and one of the very few times in life when I'm actually picky about what I'm wearing. It's no surprise that I actually own very few pieces of jewellery, and each piece has its own particular story.

I've never wanted to wear just anything, to throw something on simply because it matches the colour of my shirt, or the design on my shoes... I want my jewellery to say something about me, to actually mean something.

Back in April, I found myself getting stuck into Once Upon A Time and the new spin (pun totally unintended!) on the story of Rumplestiltskin - the mischievious imp being a childhood favourite of mine. Getting totally immersed in the fandom was an added delight that brought me close to so many new and interesting people. From there, I found myself desperate for something to wear that would be special to me, and remind me of this shared love. Thus the first Rumbelle necklace was born.

I recieved so many lovely comments from people on places like tumblr and deviantART, and soon the thought grew that I could - indeed should - be able to share with others these special pieces.

I've always been a crafty person who enjoys doing things with my hands, and spent most of my time as a youngster making tiny doll-house accessories out of things that would be otherwise thrown away, and animals out of modelling clay.

So I put my mind to it, searched over the internet for the perfect charms and learnt the basic techniques of jewellery making. I spent a lot of time getting the art just right, so I tried loads of different combinations and designs before finally settling on what you see in the shop.

Each piece is designed and put together by me, and all of them are things that I would (and do!) wear myself. Everything is masterminded from my study; the designing, the making, the etsy-handling, the packing and the posting... It's all me.

It's not a business, it's not a job - it's a hobby. I'm still learning and finding new ways and techniques every day, and I love sharing it with you all!

Jewellery-making is my hobby, and my shop is an extension of this. I enjoy making items that are unique and special, and can show off my love for my favourite things. Etsy allows me to do this, and to share it all with you lovely people! :)

Hi there!

My name is Lucy and I am the brains (what little there is!) behind "Twuly Lovely Designs", a shop containing all manner of hand-made jewellery inspired by my favourite tv shows/films/fandoms. If it's in my shop, chances are I love it or ship it or fangirl obsessively over it! Currently I'm very into ABC's Once Upon A Time, and for those of you that get the Rumple reference in the shop name, I LOVE YOU.

Up until very recently my jewellery making has been something of a hobby but I have been amazed by some of the feedback on my designs and am delighted to share with you the opportunity to have some of your very own fan-made goodies.

I do accept custom orders, if there are elements of a design that you like but would like to change it a little, let me know and we can sort something out. Additionally, if there is something else you would like that you don't see in the shop I can try my very hardest to accomodate it - you won't know until you ask!

So take a look, and feel free to get in touch with any questions or suggestions - I'd love to hear from you!

Payment
• PAYMENT METHODS:
Due to being based in the UK, I can only accept payments through PayPal at the present time.
Don't have an account? If you have a credit / debit card that can also be used through the site as a Paypal guest. See here for details: http://www.etsy.com/help/article/361

• HOW TO CHECK OUT:
If you are unsure of how to check out, please refer to etsy helps pages here http://www.etsy.com/help/article/339 or contact me directly.

Payment must be made upon purchase, unless other arrangements have been made. If you are paying by a method such as an e-cheque, please note that items will only be posted after payment has cleared.

• CUSTOM ORDERS:
Custom orders must be purchased within a week of their posting in the shop, unless other arrangements have been made.
As an additional note on custom orders, I do ask that if you are open to contact - the process of creating a custom order requires a lot of communication, and if I am making the effort to respond promptly for you, I expect you to recieve the same in return.
Shipping
• GENERAL: I am based in the UK but am willing to ship world wide. Most orders are made to order and will be sent within 3-5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) of purchase. If I expect it to take any longer, I will contact you.

Please remember that this is not a full-time job or business and I manage the shop around my work and family so your patience in order dispatch is very much appreciated! Additionally, most items are made to order so please allow for this too. I do send out emails confirming when an item has been posted, but if you have any concerns feel free to shoot me a message and check on progress.

• UK POSTAGE:
For UK orders I use Royal Mail 1st Class and your package should arrive within 1-2 days.

• INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE:
For international orders (anything outwith the UK) I use Air Mail Small Packets, and the estimated arrival time is within a week to 2 weeks, but due to customs clearing it may take longer, even up to 6 weeks, so please have patience with this service.

Please note if your location is not one of those listed, but you still wish to buy, get in contact and I will see what I can do. Some countries, like Brazil, I do not ship to unless asked due to the country's customs delays but if you are happy to wait, I am happy to ship.

• TRACKED SHIPPING:
Please note that to keep costs down for you, the buyer, this is NOT a tracked shipping service and I rely on the Royal Mail and other postal services to ensure your parcel is delivered. I will, however, keep you updated on when they have been dispatched and when to expect them.

If you would like a tracked shipping option, please get in touch but be aware that this method will incur higher postage costs - UK £2-£3.50, (depending on package size), EU £8.50, and everywhere else £9.00.

• CUSTOMS & TAXES:
Please be aware that I am NOT responsible for any customs duties / taxes incurred in the delivery of your item - these are the responsibility of the buyer. On the customs forms, items are declared as 'other' and marked with their shop value.
Refunds and Exchanges
• LOST/ DAMAGED ITEMS:
I am well aware that lost/ damaged items in the post ARE my responsibility and I will act upon them as such.

If you have not recieved your item with a reasonable time (UK 2 weeks / international 6 weeks), please first check with any neighbours and your local post office branch that the item is not there. Then contact me and I will do my utmost best to sort it out and reach a fair solution with you. Items do get lost - I cannot hand-deliver the item and have to rely on postal workers to ensure the safe arrival of your purchase.

• RETURNS/ REFUNDS
If you are unhappy with your item for any reason, get in touch and let me know so we can work out a fair solution. The buyer will be responsible for any return postage unless there is a defect with the item or a significant difference betwen description and reality. Returns and refunds will be considered on an individual case-by-case basis.

Please remember that negative feedback helps neither of us, your best option is really to get in touch - I want you to be happy and I cannot help you if I don't know there's a problem!
Additional policies and FAQs
Your purchase will be shipped to your etsy address, so please make sure this is updated and complete.

All items are wrapped safely to protect them on their journeys to their new homes. Items are shipped with a personalised note of thanks, but no invoice. Please let me know if you require an invoice; I'd be more than happy to provide one if necessary.

And a note to other etsy sellers: I am always interested in trades and bartering, so if you think you have something of interest how about we strike up a deal?
