I chose the name Txalteredart because I am a Texan, I select, I alter, and I compose.

Like all that I collect I'm pretty much old broken and been thrown-out a few times but look just right you might see a little sparkle yet.
I have spent many pleasant moments of my life creating all sorts of things. And it was early in this life that I learned all about the thrill of selling. My creative endeavors have been pretty varied. I am always full of ideas. If I made half the things I dream up I would fill a dozen or more stores but I've slowed with the years and the eye site is fading fast. Now I never know which idea I will go for or if it will work out. But I know I will be having fun!

I started selling online in 2004 after retiring from around 30 years in retail and food service industries. In 2006 I joined Etsy back when it was a small new venue. I have stayed on Etsy with my two shops, Txalteredart and Txalteredart2 for almost 10 years now and am very proud of all the wonderful reviews my creations, supplies and vintage items have received.

And what have I learned in all these years of selling? Simple! It’s all about a Happy Customer!
