TylersTrain's Shop Announcement

Tyler's Train is my Journey to Improve the Lives of Autistic Children. My son is autistic and I have already been on what has felt like a enormous uphill only journey to even get us to the point of a diagnosis. Since then I have been researching autism organizations. At first it was to receive information and support and now it is to give support. As a left-handed person, I know in my own small way what it is like to grow up in a world that is streamlined for the majority of people. Autistic children and adults think and process differently than others do. For most parents and families that does not mean trying to make their loved one normal - it means learning how to breach the disconnect. Learning how to connect when two puzzle pieces might not normally fit together. It is hard and scary and a lot of the time you feel very alone. But every success means the world and every connection is one you have forged not only between yourself and your child but between your child and their world. I sew a lot and have always wanted to use my sewing to make a difference. So I am donating 50% of all my sales to either AAROC ( or Autism Speaks ( Thank you for visiting my store and life!
