L'art d'etre unique.
TZUNUUM, founded in 2012, is a label of handmade jewelry and accessories. Born out of my desire to translate my artistic vision into a wearable form, it is an ever-evolving project that explores ways of merging ancient and traditional crafts with modern design. Each piece is individually handcrafted: a celebration of craft(wo)manship and originality over the uniformity of mass production.
SUSTAINABILITY
With a heart deeply-rooted in nature, TZUNUUM is dedicated to treading lightly on this beautiful planet. From the first sketch to the final packaging, each step of the production process reflects a dedication to minimal waste, respect for nature, and a commitment to the future. One of the missions of TZUNUUM is to reclaim, reuse, and relove, whenever possible, without sacrificing quality or durability.
Brass is locally-sourced and reclaimed from dead stock whenever possible. Eco Silver (100% recycled) is used, an earth-friendly alternative to 925 sterling silver. Gemstones are sourced from a handful of trusted retailers that are committed to providing conflict-free stones, fair wages, and safe working conditions. All leather is locally-sourced, and it is always 100% vintage or dead stock—no new hides or animal products are used in production.
THE NAME
The name TZUNUUM comes from Mayan mythology. Tzunuum was the first hummingbird, who was originally entirely white and took pride only in her ability to fly, not in her appearance. For her wedding day, the other animals of the forest all gave something of themselves in order to make her the most colorful gown. She was very pleased with it but continued to refuse to take pride in her appearance. The Great Spirit so admired her humble, honest soul that he sent word through his messenger, Cozumel the swallow, that the hummingbird could continue to wear her wedding gown for the rest of her life.

I want you to be happy with your product! If the item isn’t what you were looking for or you are not entirely satisfied for some reason, please notify me within 14 days of receiving your purchase, stating whether you would like a refund or an exchange.
The item must be sent back in its original condition with packaging and tags.
Refunds and exchanges will be processed within 48 hours, after the item has been inspected.
The customer will be responsible for return shipping costs and any additional shipping costs in the case of an exchange.
Custom orders are not eligible for a refund.

GERMANY: Shipment is processed via Deutsche Post.
Shipping usually takes 2 to 7 days.
EU & INTERNATIONAL:
Shipment is processed via Deutsche Post DHL.
Shipping times can vary from 7 to 25 days (this is rare). Most parcels arrive within 10 days.
Please note that for international orders (outside the EU), the content of the package and its value will be noted on the customs form.
Tzunuum is not responsible for any customs duty or taxes that may be applied once the item has arrived in your country or state.

Can I have a TZUNUUM piece sent directly to a loved one?
Yes, of course! If you are purchasing an item as a gift, simply leave a note in the “Message to seller” box during check out. Be sure to include the recipient’s name and address, as well as any personal message you would like to include. That’s all!
Do you do custom work?
Absolutely! Custom and bespoke work requests are always welcome. Just hit the “Contact seller” button and let's talk.
How do I take care of my jewelry?
Jewelry should be stored in its original packaging, away from wet surfaces and dust. Do not wear jewelry while exercising or showering because moisture accelerates the oxidation process.
Brass naturally develops a beautiful darker patina over time. While each of these pieces is coated with a protective finish, they should be polished with a soft cloth after wearing to prevent tarnishing.
If your jewelry has lost its original shine, I suggest trying a chemical-free method, such as ketchup or hot soapy water. You can also use commercial jewelry cleaners.
