URBANAUTIX

Marvels created from excursions in the urban wilderness

Baltimore, Maryland

Announcement    Celebrate Mother Nature with a work of art inspired by rambles along urban streams watching blue herons and collecting flotsam and jetsam.
Some sculptures have a natural stone inclusion where the roots were forced to grow in a rocky stream bed, others have a live edge where the tree healed itself from a wound, some have a gnarly burl shape- Trees are symbols of resilience and creativity for me.

URBANAUTIX

I walk forgotten zones of Baltimore finding inspiration. These creations are a collaboration between Mother Nature, the juju of found objects, and my spirit. Enjoy!

Every day I walk. Curiosity and wonder guide me. I am inspired by Mother Nature's activities and what it means to be a human on this planet.
