About

A Peace Corps Partnership for Ukrainian Creators

Eastern Rinok is a Peace Corps volunteer collaborative project with Ukrainian artists who make handmade, traditional Ukrainian merchandise. The program is designed to help Ukrainian artists share their quality handmade products with an international audience. Volunteers sponsor Ukrainian artists and craftspeople and, working with other business-minded Ukrainians, provide training on how to develop an online business. Once the training is completed, the artist opens an Etsy shop and joins our team. Each shop owner on our team has completed training and is fully supported by Peace Corps volunteers. We hope you find what you are looking for in any of the team's shops and welcome feedback at any time. Send a message to any team member or contact the program leaders directly at easternrinok [!at] gmail.com. Thanks for supporting Ukraine.
Eastern Rinok is a Peace Corps Volunteer run and supported initiative and should not be considered an official program of the U.S. Peace Corps.
As the founding Ukrainian partner of the program and the team leader of the Eastern Rinok Team, I work closely with Ukrainians and Americans to help build financial sustainability, increase business knowledge and improve the lives of Ukrainians. I am very proud of this project, my shop, and the shops of other Ukrainians I have worked with.

Hello! My name is Nina, I am from Ukraine. I am 29 and have graduated from the local university with two degrees in both management and literature, but my “hobby” of handcrafts has taken over as my occupation.
