Mud, Metal and More
Our story begins with the birth of our son and my decision to stay home. During nap times, I found myself at my potters wheel or rummaging through scraps of texture papers and leftover wallpaper. "Zuliganz", my whimsical clay animals were my first creations for Etsy and the beginning of art shows around the Midwest.
During this time, my sister and I also checked writing and illustrating a book off our bucket list! "The Earth, The Alphabet and Me" is our first book written to inspire children to take care of our Earth. The illustrations are made from wallpaper scraps.
On the jewelry side, Chris has created custom jewelry for over 20 years. As the art shows began, he decided to jump in on the fun! The vision behind the latest collection - Second - is to use products in their second life to help give a child a new one. The jewelry will feature recycled materials, deconstructed items, unique metals, glass and semi-precious stones. The primary benefactors will be those loving and supporting orphans through adoption, which is so expensive and such a true labor of love.

Owner, Maker, Designer
After years of cutting, folding, bending and stacking almost everything, “Zuliganz” took shape. For me, they are a combination of what I like most in artwork – unusual shapes, unique textures, and a dash of humor.
