Como exjugadora de fútbol americano femenino, me frustraba la falta de ropa que realmente reflejara nuestra identidad. Las opciones eran limitadas: diseños genéricos para hombre, encogidos, o ropa excesivamente sexualizada que no representaba nuestra imagen. No quería vestirme como un disfraz. Quería ropa que me honrara como atleta.
A veces quiero sentirme audaz y femenina. A veces quiero sentirme valiente y preparada para el contacto. La mayoría de las veces, solo quiero representar al fútbol femenino con fuerza, confianza y autenticidad.

As a former women’s tackle football player, I was frustrated by the lack of apparel that truly reflected who we are. The options were limited — either generic men’s designs shrunk down or overly sexualized gear that didn’t represent how we see ourselves. I didn’t want to dress like a costume. I wanted apparel that honored me as an athlete.
Sometimes I want to feel bold and feminine. Sometimes I want to feel gritty and built for contact. Most of the time, I just want to represent women’s football in a way that is strong, confident, and authentic.
With the rapid growth of women’s and girls’ flag football, a new generation of athletes is stepping onto the field with visibility and momentum. That deserves representation too.
