Welcome to my world of the Uncanny!
Desde pequeño, me fascinaron por naturaleza tanto el arte como los libros. Pasaba largos días y noches absorto en historias o dibujando y pintando obsesivamente figuras humanas (sobre todo rostros). A los 11 años descubrí a Stephen King, y sus mundos despertaron mi amor por el terror, que perduró toda mi vida. Esa pasión me llevó a estudiar Ilustración y Animación, y posteriormente Bellas Artes: Escultura.
En la universidad, me fascinó la animación stop-motion y me enamoré de las creaciones de Tim Burton. Eso despertó mi pasión por la creación de personajes: dar vida a seres extraños, peculiares y un poco sobrenaturales. Por aquella época, descubrí el concepto de lo Siniestro a través de la psicología y el psicoanálisis. Esto moldeó mi tesis sobre la fragmentación corporal y me llevó a mi primera "vela corporal"... y, finalmente, a un oso de peluche con boca y dientes humanos. ¡El resto es historia!
Debido a mi pasión por la psicología, exploro las expresiones faciales en mi obra, capturando la emoción y la personalidad en toda su extraña y compleja belleza. Mis criaturas son raras, inquietantes, a veces espeluznantes... pero a menudo hacen reír. Esa tensión es lo que más me apasiona.
Dato curioso: mi trabajo ha aparecido en ¡Aunque usted no lo crea! de Ripley y en el programa de Paul O'Grady. Puede que incluso encuentren una entrevista o un artículo sobre criaturas misteriosas circulando por internet.

Since early childhood, I was naturally fascinated with both art and books. I would spend long days and nights escaping into stories or obsessively drawing and painting the human figure (especially faces). At the age of 11, I discovered Stephen King – and his worlds sparked my lifelong love of horror. That passion led me to study Illustration & Animation, followed by Fine Arts: Sculpture.
At university, I became fascinated with stop-motion animation and fell in love with Tim Burton’s creations. That sparked my love of character-making – giving life to beings that are odd, peculiar, and a little bit otherworldly. Around the same time, I discovered the concept of the Uncanny through psychology and psychoanalysis. This shaped my thesis on bodily fragmentation and led to my first “bodily candle”… and eventually, a teddy bear with a human mouth and teeth. The rest is history!
Because of my love for psychology, I explore facial expressions in my work – capturing emotion and personality in all their strange, complex beauty. My Creatures are odd, unsettling, sometimes creepy… yet they often make people laugh. That tension is what I love most.
