Meet the Artist Behind Uneek Doll Designs
I came up with the idea for creating my unique art characters about 10 years ago when my husband put together a dollhouse for my mom and I decided to make some people to put in it. I looked at clothespin dolls online and decided I could come up with my own way of creating them, and that is when it all started.
Since I enjoy classic literature ,well written history books, and interesting biographies, I found myself wanting to create those characters and people I read about into my art work. I began doing this with very simplistic, easy to do characters, and slowly I started challenging myself more and more to branch out to doing just about anyone, since we all know there is never a shortage of interesting people in this world!
I really love what I do and I hope that it shows- knowing my art work brings some fun into someone else's life makes it all the more rewarding too!
Custom orders are accepted in most cases, so feel free to place a custom order.
