Lovely earrings, very well crafted and shipped quickly too. The only flaw is the hooks, they were quite frail and easily deformed anytime I put on the earrings. I simply changed the hooks and voilà, 5/5!

Humble Beginnings, Glamorous Outcomes!
You will be surprised how messy I get making my gems. I am covered in saw dust, glue, paint, glitter and the list goes on. What comes out of the rainbow of mess is a glamorous, unusual, lovely, wearable treasure. I have no idea how they are created in the confusion of my work space, they just do. I am always so proud of each one. Then I start over, trudging my way through the muddy local woodland to collect more fallen wood and buying scraps from my local carpenter. The mess has already begun.
I have always been artistic. Art was my favourite subject in school. I love experimenting with mixed media. So I use unconventional mediums and materials in my designs. Some come out very well and some, well, they are a disaster. (You cannot put fresh flowers into resin)
I hand mix my own pigments to create colours and stains. So far my favorite medium is wood. I like the different qualities each piece of wood has and the grain they display. I always try to make sure the beautiful grain is showed in all of it's glory. I mostly work with, Oak, Birch, Ash, Walnut and Cherry and I have a recent addition of Maple.
I spend hours designing and making my jewellery. I grow attached to them. So when they sell, I am so glad they are going to a lovely home, to a lovely person, who will wear them with pride. I recently moved home from London UK to my new home Haarlem the Netherlands.
I recently adopted two cats from an animal shelter in Amsterdam. Jimmy and Duchess. Jimmy delivers the parcels and Duchess is in control of quality.

If you're purchasing via direct checkout (credit/debit card) I will start making your items once payment is cleared. This can take up to 5 business days depending on your banks policies.
Custom orders (orders that are not in the shop or orders that require a large quantity) a non-refundable deposit fee is required which will be agreed upon. Once the non-refundable deposit is paid I shall start making your creation!
In very rare cases, people are asked to pay a customs tax fee, this fee varies from country to country - this is the buyers responsibility and not mine. There is no custom tax fee to countries within the EU. Please be aware of your own countries policies and thresholds. Below are three of my most popular international order countries thresholds.

International shipping: €3.00 - €18.00 depending on where. Items will arrive approx 7 - 24 working days. Delays may occur due to customs. Unfortunately the Dutch postage system is very expensive on some of my bangles as they come under the small parcel rate. I understand this is very expensive so I combine shipping for more than one item and will refund the difference if the cost is less. (Either way it will always be cheaper than collecting the item yourself! :))
I don't make a profit from the postage cost. The cost covers, postage, gift wrap, protective wrap and packaging. I try to be as environmentally friendly as possible by re-using packaging.
I use Netherlands domestic and air mail, first class and first class international priority. Tracking is possible at a higher charge.

Please take care of your wood jewellery! Depending on wear, gently polish your jewellery with a clear organic beeswax every 6-9 months to keep it's luster. Occasionally you may need to gently clean any stone items, using soapy warm water. Please do not ever submerge the jewellery.
If you're buying any of my stud/post earrings, the butterfly backs in time will loosen. This is easily fixed by gently squeezing the loops together on the butterfly back to re-tighten. A lot of people throw away perfectly good earrings because they do not know how to re-tighten their stud/post earrings!
If you're buying any of my sterling silver, silver plate or gold plate items, do take care of them! Silver tarnishes naturally over time and can be easily cleaned to bring the shine back by simply wiping it with a warm soapy cloth or with a gentle metal cleaner. Please do not submerge the items into water.
