Ser humano es difícil. Entonces, ¿por qué no jugar con piedras bonitas? ¿Y llevar mensajes secretos y divertidos codificados por computadora? ¿Y trastear con algo bonito alrededor del cuello? O sea... ¿no?
Uplighten y todos nuestros productos están diseñados para ser un pequeño oasis lejos del caos. Un lugar donde está bien priorizar tus necesidades, porque si no lo haces de vez en cuando, ¿cómo puedes ser una luz para los demás? Es como el oxígeno en un avión: si te quedas sin oxígeno, no puedes ayudar a nadie.
Y vaya si es difícil ponerlo en práctica. Por eso, intentamos facilitarlo con objetos portátiles, bonitos y significativos que esperamos te ayuden a encontrar un momento para reconectar contigo mismo/a.
Todo en nuestra tienda está hecho a mano por mí, Melissa (una gran aficionada a la tecnología), y por mi esposo J. A. (ponente de TEDx, autor galardonado y coach de mindfulness). El control de calidad corre a cargo de nuestra hija de 10 años. Si ella no lo rompe, probablemente tú tampoco.

Being a human is hard. So why not play with pretty rocks? And wear fun secret computer-coded messages? And fiddle with something pretty around your neck? I mean...right?
Uplighten and all of our products are designed to be a little oasis away from the crazy. Where it's okay to put your needs first - because if you don't do that from time to time, how can you be a light for others? It's the airplane oxygen thing; if you are out, you can't help anyone else.
And boy is that hard to practice. So we are trying to make it easier with portable, pretty, meaningful things that we hope will help you carve out a moment here or there to reconnect with yourself.
Everything in our shop is handmade by me - Melissa (super big tech nerd) and my husband J. A. (TEDx speaker, award-winning author, and mindfulness coach), with quality control headed up by our 10-year old. If she can't break it, you probably won't either.
