Love these bags and her shop! This was my 2nd spinners grab bag... I was secretly hoping for less greens this time around b/c my first bag had tons of greens, but that is OK because green is one of my favorite colors. :) Also she was able to throw in some more of the bamboo stuff from my last box which I love!! Really great seller.

From My Art to Yours
For 20 years, I was an Art Director. I worked for a craft book publisher here in Asheville. I used to knit and spin yarn to keep my creative sanity. Something that I only did for me. I learned to spin yarn to feed my insane knitting habit. Lark sent me to a dyeing workshop, and I found a new obsession with colors and textures. That turned into a side business. Now I am dying and spinning yarn full time.
I love being a fiber artist. I would have never thought that this would be my medium. I figured it would be clay!
But as a designer at heart, I decided that my mission is to help fellow knitters, crocheters, weavers and felters embrace their own style and creativity by exploring fiber art as it is a part of their everyday life. Inspired by handmade yarns, I love the challenge of embracing the unpredictability of her medium and works to design in the moment inch by inch as I create fabrics that showcase the each yarn's unique properties.
I have been designing and tech editing patterns professionally since 2002. I am thrilled to take my love of fiber arts and love of print media design into new offerings for my fiber art customers. I see all my customers as fiberartists themselves and am honored to be a small part of their creative work and inspirations through my fibers, yarn or teaching materials.
Owner, Head Fiberista
Stacey Budge Kamison lives and works in the beautiful town of Asheville, NC with her husband, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and an angora rabbit. She has a studio in Biltmore forest where she hand dyes and spins her artisan yarns and fibers.
I have a smoke-free and pet free studio. I do have pets at home and an occasional pet hair will find its way into the studio. Just a heads up in case you have allergies. Although I strive for color accuracy when I photograph my yarn, the colors may look a little different on your monitor.
Please convo me if you have any questions about my yarn.
