VJarmanJewellery's Shop Policies

Welcome! Thank you for stopping by my shop.

All my jewellery is handcrafted in my home in Wiltshire using traditional jewellery making techniques. Each piece is unique and created with maximum care and attention to create an individual piece of jewellery for you.

Below are my shop policies. If you have any questions please get in touch and I will do my utmost to answer your query as quickly and completely as I can.

Payments can be made via Paypal or credit/debit card. Full payment must be made at time of purchase and clear in my account before I can start making your piece of jewellery.

I will send you notification via Etsy to confirm that your item(s) have been dispatched.

Postage prices are calculated according to the following price brackets:
~ Under £49 = £3.20 / £3.80
~ £50 - £299 = £6.40 / £11.30
~ £300-£1000 = £7.40 / £45

All parcels over £100 are tracked.

All parcels are sent with UK Royal Mail, other than international orders over £300 which will be sent via FedEx as Royal Mail no longer insure items over this amount.

There is no additional postage charge to you for orders of multiple items even if your combined parcel goes into the next postage price bracket.

CUSTOMS: You may have to pay customs duty if you are outside of the UK. How customs actually works is anyone's guess - sometimes you have to pay, other times you don't. I don't know why! But it's best to be prepared for it...

You can calculate what that is likely to be at You only get a couple of goes before they make you sign up for an account!

**I will post to your Etsy address unless otherwise indicated.**

Refunds and Exchanges

In accordance with the UK Distance Selling Regulations, please notify me of your wish to return your purchase within 14 days of receipt of your goods. Goods must be returned to me within 14 days. Unless the item is faulty, you the customer are responsible for the return postage costs (I advise you use recorded delivery). Upon receipt of returned goods which are in resalable condition I will provide you with a full refund, including the original delivery charges, within 14 days of receipt of the goods. If goods are not resaleable, e.g. is scratched, then I will deduct a fee accordingly.

MADE TO ORDER PIECES: I do not offer refunds on custom made items. This includes 'Made to Order' rings as I make them specifically in your size.

Having said all this, I sincerely hope you love your purchase and I will do my utmost to resolve any issues you have. Please contact me as soon as possible to discuss.

Additional Policies and FAQs

Please find ring sizing tips on my blog here ~

If you know your US ring size, but not the conversion to UK sizes, just leave me a 'note to seller' at checkout with your US ring size & I will do the conversion for you. Similarly I can convert from other international sizes for you.

You should be aware in advance that it is not possible to re-size rings with flush set stones as any change to the band will distort & loosen the stone setting so please double check your ring size before ordering!

Please note that - unless otherwise stated - all of my pieces are made to order and so you should allow 3-4 weeks for silver pieces and 4-6 weeks for gold pieces for your jewellery to be completed + postage time. This is because I am a small business and I do not keep a large stock of materials. It also means that each piece is crafted with care and attention rather than in bulk to create a unique piece of jewellery that has been made just for you.

If you really need a piece sooner please send me a message me as you never know, I might have the materials in stock or be able to get them quite quickly. I will do my best!

I would love to make a one-off piece of jewellery for you! Please send me a message or email me at victoriajarmanjewellery [!at] to enquire about commissions.
