I bought these drawings as a gift for someone who loves Tolkien. The artist was prompt, attentive, and thoughtful - she took pictures of the sections I wanted and proposed new ideas which I absolutely loved! The calligraphy is gorgeous. It looks handmade because you can see how the ink spread out on the page, but it also is very true to the style of the maps in the books. After I frame these they are going to be my favorite pieces in my new home!

SO ADORABLE! shipped on time and everything. it's smaller than i expected, not even taller than your thumb, but other than that no surprises. definitely a great gift idea!

About

Creative Nerd Revives Post-Grad Life

It all began during the quiet, lonely months of my first post-grad winter while I struggled to figure out what to do with myself in the "real world."

One thing that managed to cheer me up was crafting. I had always been a creative kid--sculpting clay wizards, reproducing paintings, writing stories--and I finally had time to revisit those hobbies. I spent many hours brainstorming installation art projects and perfecting the origami firework.

I also played a lot of Settlers of Catan. After discovering the game in college, I quickly assimilated my friends and family. I decided to craft a 3D board for my mom for Christmas because I was sick of tinkering with the warped frame pieces of the original game board and figured my mom would appreciate something beautiful and handmade.

My 3D Catan board was a huge hit with everyone who encountered it. Not only was it wonderful to look at; it was much easier to assemble and play with. A few friends commissioned boards from me, and one of them recommended that I look into Etsy. I quickly became obsessed. I opened my shop and started hoarding small cardboard boxes for shipping.

I currently work as a writer, designer, and entrepreneur, and I hope to continue sharing my crafts with the world as much as I can. To learn more about me, you can visit my personal website, www.visionfairy.com. Thanks for visiting my shop, and I wish you good gaming and artful, nerdy enjoyment.

Shipping
I ship Monday through Friday USPS (United States Postal Service) First Class. If you would like to use a different method, I would be happy to oblige you. I would be thrilled to ship something to you internationally.

Finished items are sent out immediately--if not the day of, then usually the day after. If an item is made to order, you can expect your order to be sent out within a week (5 business days), unless stated otherwise in the product description. I'll always send an email to let you know your item has started on it's journey to you. Feel free to contact me to make special shipping requests.

I only use sustainable shipping materials. I don't include printed receipts unless you request one.

I take just as much care packaging my items as I do making them. I want you to receive your items in the same perfect condition as when they left my hands. If for some reason something terrible happens in transit, please reach out and we'll figure something out.

International orders are more than welcome. It would be an honor to have my creations live across the globe!
Refunds and Exchanges
Each of these items are handmade by myself--no two are going to look exactly alike, but that's the whole point, right?

Yet, if you find yourself dissatisfied for any reason with one of my pieces of art, please rest assured you can return it to me within 3 weeks for a full refund, minus shipping charges.

While I package my items as carefully as I create them, it is possible (but very unlikely) that something unfortunate can happen to them in transit. In such cases, I would be happy to discuss solutions with you. I would hate for one of my creations to not fulfill its purpose!
Additional policies and FAQs
All wall art pieces are signed and dated. All game inspired pieces are stamped on the back/bottom with my logo. Origami works are unsigned but come with a stamped tag.

Check out my Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/VanGamble) for updates on my whereabouts and promotions.

Gifts! If you'd like to send something to someone directly, I would be happy to wrap it and include a custom handwritten notecard for an additional cost (usually $5.00).

If you are interested in ordering bulk, message me and we'll figure out a deal. :)

As always, let me know what I can do to make your experience 100% positive.
