VectorCraft Labs funciona en un local que siempre ha sido un taller. Mi padre construía y reparaba coches de carreras y camiones todoterreno aquí. Mi abuelo trabajaba la madera y tenía una extensa maqueta de trenes en el mismo espacio. Entre los dos podían arreglar prácticamente cualquier cosa que les pusieras delante, y lo hacían bien o no lo hacían.
Ambos se fueron hace unos diez años. Durante un tiempo el lugar quedó en silencio. Ahora vuelve a tener actividad.
Nunca me he especializado en un solo oficio. Soy una persona que resuelve problemas y que colecciona habilidades, y VCL es el resultado de concentrar todo eso en un solo lugar: diseño, impresión 3D, trabajo con láser, fundición, productos de marca y herramientas prácticas. Las dos facetas de este taller, la fabricación en bruto y el trabajo con detalles finos, son las dos facetas con las que crecí.
Mi nombre refleja mi forma de trabajar. Un vector es directo, sin rodeos, y se adapta a cualquier tamaño que requiera el proyecto. La artesanía es la creación. Construir con intención significa hacer el trabajo correctamente, para lo que realmente se necesita, sin desperdicios ni apariencias.
Si sale de este taller, es que se fabricó correctamente.

VectorCraft Labs runs out of a shop that was always a shop. My dad built and fixed race cars and mud trucks here. My grandfather did woodwork and ran an extensive model train layout in the same space. Between them they could fix just about anything you put in front of them, and they did it right or not at all.
Both have been gone about ten years. For a while the space went quiet. Now it makes things again.
I never picked one trade. I am a problem solver and a collector of skills, and VCL is what happens when you point all of that at one bench: design, 3D printing, laser work, casting, branded goods, and practical tools. The two sides of this shop, raw fabrication and fine detail, are the two sides I grew up around.
The name says how I work. A vector is direct, no fluff, and scales to whatever size the job needs. Craft is the making. Built with intention means getting the job right for what is actually needed, nothing wasted, nothing for show.
If it leaves this shop, it was built right.
