I am passionate about reading, love books of all kinds, and have a deep appreciation for the written word; I also love visiting flea markets and antique shops to look for vintage books.

After searching through stacks, bins, and shelves stuffed with old, dusty books, one thing became clear: Some of these precious books might never be purchased because they appeared to be long past their prime. Many are left behind because of a simple cosmetic defect, and others aren't purchased because of damage to the pages inside.

Then it dawned on me. I could rescue these incredible books, breathe into them new life, and share them with others! I already knew I love to spend time crafting - starting with a rough product, making a bit of a mess, getting my hands dirty, and then basking in the joy of having created something new. It suddenly became clear that I wanted to create handmade journals, sketchbooks, and music books full-time. I had found my passion!

Because I don't throw away crafting materials with any potential use, I soon compiled quite the stock of funky, mismatched items. And, because nothing beats receiving a thoughtful, handwritten greeting card in your mailbox, I decided to expand my line beyond handmade books to include handmade greeting cards as well. I very much enjoy creating holiday cards, birthday cards, thank you cards, and everyday greeting cards.
