Utterly charming lamb watercolor print was the hit of the baby shower. The subtle colors and gentleness of the lamb image delighted everyone. What a talented artist! Shipping was very fast. I will buy from this buyer again.

About

Why all the flowers and birds

A city child, grown up in a flat and used to the constant background noise of trams and cars, moves to a little village in the Netherlands, where the background noise is the noise of flying geese, mooing cows and the bells of the 13th century church every half an hour. Yes, I don’t miss the big city, I don’t miss the visual pollution of advertising on the streets and the real pollution in the air. Since I moved to the Netherlands, I felt like I was reborn. I was very much influenced by the beautiful surrounding of my new home. Overwhelmed by the gorgeous gardens and the many different flowers, plants and birds, one day I found myself painting a rose in the garden of my mother in law.
And there is a bit of controversial note here – actually, every bit of nature, every little flower, all things that inspired me to start painting again, are all developed and maintained by the Dutch people! The landscape here is entirely created by them!

I must admit, although I love painting and drawing, I've always struggled to find a subject to paint. For years I didn't paint anything, just because everything seemed to be already made. Now I don't have to wait long to find my inspiration anymore. A short ride with my bike around the village is enough. My works are unpretentious, I just try to recreate the beauty of nature. The peace and pleasure I find in painting nature gives me strength and motivation, and when you see them in your home or offer them as gifts, I think they'll do the same for you and your loved ones.
